  • I want your eyebrows.
  • Mmmmmhmmmmmmm......those lats.........ok done drooling. EXCELLENT WORK!
  • I think you look great! Keep at it!
  • Do you have an opinion on non-homogenized milk? My preferred milk is organic, whole, non-homogenized, but it is pasteurized. That is too pricey for me sometimes, so I stick to organic whole when I can't afford it.

  • I drink 8 oz of organic whole milk 2-3 times a week, and also use small amounts in cooking. I think milk has a lot of healthy benefits, including calcium, and I drink it if I'm really lazy after a workout and don't want to prepare anything. 8oz=8g protein/8g fat and 150 calories. I'm looking into protein powders and might…

  • Thank you sokerilaura!! I can work with that! Might change some things around here
  • WOWOWOWOW!!!!! This is EXACTLY what I'm hoping to get out of 30DS! You look awesome. About to go do day 3 now, since I think my late lunch is digested enough!! You look amazing!
  • He eats 2 or 3 times a day. I eat 5-6 times a day. That means I prepare up to 9 different meals EVERY SINGLE DAY. That's 63 things per week. You try doing that and let me know as soon as you start getting a little fed up. Edit: forgot to mention he won't touch leftovers, and we don't even have a microwave. So I cook a lot…
  • My boyfriend is like this!! Let's be friends! He will literally ONLY eat tinned veggies- corn, peas, and green beans. His fruit intake consists of mandarin oranges and strawberry fruit popsicles. I sneak him veggies in chili and sauces by mincing green peppers and onions so small into marinara sauce he can't identify them.…
  • I eat until I brush my teeth and go to bed. Haven't had any problems not losing so far, or any problems sleeping or with indigestion.
  • Check out this article, he breaks it down into pretty simple terms. Or google "body recomposition" http://samantics.net/2012/01/03/the-art-of-body-recomposition/
  • That being said, yes, you can healthily lose ~10 lbs by March if you work towards 2/week, track everything, and work out.
  • Don't set a number goal, set a pace/distance goal for March. Get your butt on a track every day and work towards that goal. You'll lose weight as a side effect, but focus on conditioning now.
  • Put half of it aside right away for a couple smaller meals later! (I usually get 3 meals out of my normal Thai and Indian places). Order a dish with chicken or seafood and lots of veggies and rice on the side. Eat a small ratio of rice to your nutrient packed proteins and veggies. Try something with peanuts or coconut milk…
  • What are your food tastes? Do you have access to a fridge and microwave at work?
  • Here's a dumb question. Does it taste strongly of coconut haha? I don't mind the taste but my boyfriend hates it. If I were to use it in cooking, would he notice?
  • Couldn't really send the food back, as my friend's boyfriend was our server. I just had some grilled chicken with refried beans and rice but holy heck! Oh, and no nutrition info online at all :( Will working up a good sweat tomorrow help too? Or just stick to the water? I really feel like crap right now, but maybe it's in…
  • Because who wouldn't trust that face?
  • Just finished 1.2 of 30DS. I wasn't super sore this morning, just in my pecs. I know tomorrow I will feel it more. Gotta keep pushing though. It takes extreme work to get extreme results :)
  • I'm doing Mexican tonight too! I settled on grilled chorizo chicken with rice and beans or fajitas without beans instead or tortillas. The full plate of chorichicken comes in at ~1000 calories, but I'm going to eat around half of it and make sure I get a good workout before!
  • Oh my goodness mylanta. So much sexy contained in one thread.
  • Fighter by Miss Xtina Ag. And Dare You to Move.
  • Get Fiber One bars. Make this your sweet treat. Believe me when I say your lesson will be learned if you eat more than 1-2 per day.
  • Have a glass of whole milk. Eat a tbsp. of peanut butter with an apple or banana Greek Yogurt with some granola and fresh or frozen fruit Hummus and veggies or crackers Brotein shakes Or, with 1000 calories to kill, bacon and cheesecake. IIFYM. Remember, fat=9cal/g and protein is 4cal/g.
  • 57, 58, 60 seem not awful (except on the sodium scale, but it's Asian, so...) Get a half serving of rice. Or either of the salads with the dressing on the side
  • I just did day 1 of 30DS. I was expecting it to be hell, but even though I was pushing myself it wasn't that bad. Am I doing it wrong? Would I die if I did two workouts every day instead of one?
  • Track your Non-Scale Victories (NSVs)!!! Did you put a new hole in your belt? Write it down. Do you see the beginnings of a bicep? Write it down. Did you turn down a second cupcake at a birthday party? Write it down. You have to track your progress that isn't in numbers. You've done great so far, so keep at it! Find one…
  • I've found this to be the tamest forum I've ever participated in. Most of "the regulars" seem to have limitless patience.
  • Oof. I needed to read this today, as I'm feeling pretty demotivated myself. I haven't worked out in a couple days too, which is really killing my energy. I think I'm going to try 30DS tonight since bf has to work and only my dog will be here to judge me! Hopefully Jillian can whip me back in gear.
  • WOOOOOW you look SO GOOD! I want to run a 10k this year, any advice?
