That is awesome! Going from 150 lbs post partum to 104 lbs is really hard to do at your height and size. That is like losing a whole person when you're 4'9", lol! GREAT JOB!!

Bump! Sounds yummy!

It really depends on several things. High intensity or low intensity? What is YOUR cardio heart rate zone? The best way to tell specifically for you is to use a heart rate monitor and set the ranges for your body. I usually burn 600-800 calories depending on how hard I do it.

You can tell by the way you're standing in the second picture you are way more confident in the way you look. I think you're doing AWESOME!!

Hi, I'm 5'2" and started MFP at 236. I lost a total of of 34 lbs in 2011 and am proud of that. But, I still have a long way to go. My ultimate goal is 105 lbs lost, but for now I'd like to lose 20 lbs, which is in April. And everyone is right. When us "shorties' lose 5 lbs people really notice, but when we gain 5 people…

A heart monitor is the BEST way to get accurate calorie count for Zumba. And, it really does vary between instructors. I can burn 800 or 900 with a really intense instructor, but average 600-800 with most. The DVDs are convenient but nowhere near as fun as a class. Hope this helps! P.S. Once you get a monitor and get an…

What a beautiful girl!!! You should be so proud of yourself. That is AWESOME!!

I use mine in Zumba to calcuate how much I'm burning. I will periodically check it during class to see if I'm pushing hard enough to get what I want. It's a great way to stay on track to meet your goals!

Way to go! I do Zumba and love it! I have the 30 DS but haven't got past day 5 since I started Zumba....not enough time to do both, lol. Keep up the good work.

I am 5'2" and started this journey at 232. I am down to 202, but CANNOT break the 200 mark. SO FRUSTRATING!! I have been stuck here for 5 weeks. I am a Zumbaholic...love it love it love it!! I am trying to incorporate weights more into my workouts to help burn more fat, but it's a slow go. Please feel free to add me as a…

Well, hooray for me!! No more plus sizes!! I can go on the "regular" side at Cato, buy clothes with no letters (especially those dreaded W's and X's), and I can shop in the regular size departments at stores. No more +'s for me...only down down down from here!!

That is totally amazing! Awesome job!

Things that made me smile today: I took the weekend off from any exercise to rest. Got up this morning--no weight gained!! My 5 year old assured me (with a hug and kiss) I would be okay Monday when I drop her off at Kindgarten : (

That IS awesome and not silly at all!! I have noticed the gap closing too. Thanks for reminding me to celebrate all the victories....big and small!
-
WOW! That is a total transformation!! You look amazing.

Measurements are getting smaller and I know I shouldn't obsess about the scales. Just like the validation, I guess. Maybe I will start paying more attention to the clothes and less to the scales. lol.

I do Zumba Mon, Thurs, Sat and strength train Wed & sometimes Sunday, but lightly. i don't have a trainer, can't really afford that on top of gym membership. Just trying to go at this on my own. Always thought as long as you're moving you're losing. Starting to see there's more to it than that : (

Ok, done.

I do this too!! LOL!

Great job! You look awesome! I can't believe you've lost that much in only 6 months. i'm jealous, only lost 27 in 7 months : (
