People who say "boiled egg white" make me cry:cry: there - see?

My 4 year old daughter blew her nose the other day, opened the tissue and showed me and said "look, mummy, here's your teatime".

My experience of SW is that it is good whilst you are on it and if you stick to it you will lose weight. My problem with it is that it doesn't teach you how to eat "normally". It only allows low fat or fat free food and that is not sustainable (or, indeed, healthy) long term. It doesn't teach you about portion control…

All I can say is your friend sounds like a douche for saying that!
-
"Muscle milk" sounds dirty to me Oatmeal rocks! Eat that too!
-
Eat one and overcome your melodrama.
-
Doing that "diet" put me in hospital for 5 days. It's just doesn't work for some and I don't think it's sustainable or healthy for life - so why do it at all?
-
I like someone who adds a bit of perspective - nice one!:flowerforyou:

What have you got to be mad about? Sorry to say it but I think you are over-reacting!
-
You look amazing! I don't think your smile could be any wider! Congratulations on the weight loss and your upcoming wedding!:flowerforyou:

Or drown yourself in a ditch, hang yourself on the hay feeder... oh so many ways for a sheep to die!
-
Eh! You're young and beautiful - it's his loss! You'll be his "one that got away" in the future and you'll be laughing   :drinker:
-
Well done, good boy!

Remove a yolk from an egg?? The very suggestion!

I'm on Hants/Dorset/Wilts border - anyone free to add me (if you don't mind me saying more than wtg on your diary/ posts!)

I've got the "lollipop, lollipop" song in my head

Excuses! Work presents its own set of problems. You just have to take it a day, an hour, a minute at a time and don't keep expecting to fail.
-
That programme rots your brain! And thank goodness I don't have to watch it cos I'm at work! Have you thought that maybe they were being deliberately controversial? Have just googled it and found it on the Daily Mail website (no surprise) and the CEO is the same woman who (in the Daily Mail recently) was quoted as saying…

That's an incredible difference! Thanks for sharing - amazing inspiration and you must be very proud!

I'm not a stay-at-home mum (I wish!) - work full time and have a 4 year old. Not quite sure why it would be harder to stick to a plan when you are at home rather than at work? The dedication comes from within you. It's YOUR decision. The only person that can make you veer off track is you!

Why does everyone seem to depend on coffee for energy? Surely this what food is for?!
-
Are you eating a nutritious breakfast? I eat porridge made with skimmed milk every morning with a cup of tea and then I'm wide awake!
-
As long as you are getting a balanced diet, I don't think it matters at all. Do you mean the same thing every day or the same thing for every meal?
-
Nom nom nom! Would especially recommend those as husband is a shepherd!
-
Weigh/ log the ingredients, not the finished product as it is a combination of different foods which have different calorie densities. My husband makes a good burger just with lean beef mince and salt and pepper. Then fried. You don't even need oil - why would you want to put it in the oven?
-
Calories for weight loss, macros for body composition.

But surely you either follow the 5:2 diet or you don't?! It's not about being a sheep, it's about following the plan. I'm not doing it because I don't want to. I like eating food. Regularly. Every day. So many people have crazy ideas about how following some diet will unlock the secret to their weight loss and long term…

If you didn't have a setback, you couldn't have a COMEBACK!! maybe get some more excellent friends to keep you going when you're struggling. I have cheat days and bad days but as long as you keep going, you'll get there in the end! Log absolutely everything. And start capitalising - it's AWESOME and makes you feel…
-
You're so high maintenance!

LOL cheap and effective
