We invented imperial units and we aren't on that stupid map. Americans use imperial because once upon a time they belonged to us. Freedom units? Don't make me laugh - IMPERIAL. Think on the meaning of the word.
-
No - they are, by logic, the most numerous jobs in any given organisation, ergo will employ all kinds of people in all kinds of situations.
-
oops, wrong quote - deleted.

A) its not at the expense of the 'rest of us' - economics doesn't work like that. B) Yes, you can its called solidarity.

I actually dont think it matters whether you went to college or not in this situation - then we get into this whole nasty 'deserving vs undeserving poor' argument. The fact is that you do that job, and you should be paid a living wage, whyever it is that you are doing it.
-
Rubbish - then a strike would be pointless. But the fact is they can't be replaced easily and so a strike is effective.
-
If they could be replaced that easily and quickly, then a strike would be utterly ineffective. But they can't, so it isn't.
-
Or, they can choose to unionise and negotiate better conditions. Collective bargaining - the reason that strikes are effective is because, actually those workers at the bottom are vital for a company to function. If they were as worthless as you seem to think they are, then they could all walk off the job to no detriment…

What is wrong with this picture is that presumably well educated people are stupid enough to scapegoat fast food workers who want a living wage instead of struggling to gain a better wage for themselves. If you are dissatisfied with your wage, then join your union and negotiate better wages, and support those in other…

There is nothing wrong with milk. Also; skimmed milk has more protein/unit volume than semi-skimmed or whole milk because you have skimmmed off some of the fat portion....ergo...maths.
-
Read the study you just posted. That is do do with the effects on protein synthesisation in vitro. The human body is not in vitro, it is rather in vivo and one should really not attempt to link the two.
-
Beer has lots of good things in it, including b vitamins and so on. But yes, your body uses it in preference to other carbs because it is so easy to break down.

Neither you or I have a definitive answer to that question - the OP stated that she had bowel issues which nearly led to a colectomy in some form and also has ulcers. Even if it is "just" a reaction to alcohol, the answer is still 'see a doctor' because there could be an underlying issue that needs further…
-
I like to have a banana or a bowl of cereal, usually because working out in the evening means I don't have my dinner till late.
-
Get to a doctor - this may or may not be to do with the alcohol. I know it isn't generally indicative of bowel conditions (I had UC myself until ileostomy at 22). It really isn't as simple as "stop drinking" in my opinion that would be the "head in sand" approach.
-
Interestingly (or not); I recently saw an article outlining the bad and good habits of people with high IQs, and two of the bad habits were staying up late and drinking too much. Ergo; Bob Harper is stupid and I'd rather be clever than skinny. :drinker:

Cod liver oil, Creatine (I lift 3x a week, Rugby train 2x/week and have a match most saturdays, so it stops me being sore) Whey, occasionally when I haven't hit my protein target, but I do use the cheapest, all this 'quality of whey' stuff is total *kitten*. Animal protein is animal protein.

It just seems to have too many ingredients really. Much as I don't like Dr Oz, I am willing to entertain the notion that he might have a nice cake recipe, of course the 'never get sick' part is bollocks, if you actually read something into that it says more about you than Dr Oz, frankly. I'd sooner have a carrot cake or a…

As much as I love me an egg (I have three a day) this is wrong. Also: Constipation.

I always thought it was about 1g protein per 1lb LBM - in spite of the fact that I have a science degree and the notion of grams per lb makes my brain scream. Puts me on about 150g per day. I think I'd find it hard to eat very much more than that because its the most expensive macronutrient...
-
It isn't either more or less healthy than eating them, because teeth, enzymes in siliva and stomach acid.
-
Juicing as a notion is neither healthy or unhealthy. Either way, all your food is "Juiced" before it enters your gut by your teeth, tongue and stomach - so your digestive system does not get a "break" anyway. As above, the notion of a "juice cleanse" is so laughable that if you fall for it you have nobody to blame but…

As much as I am an ardent supporter of breast feeding...3 1/2 years or months old? If she hasn't weaned a 3 1/2 year old then she has bigger problems than the drinking. Alcoholics are addicted to alcohol, neither of the situations in the OP suggest that she might be. Drunk at 11pm? so? Has been known to have a drink at…

We definitley hang it in a chiller here.

Venison is lean - so you either need to cook it forever or for seconds - when I have venison steaks from the loin I have them super-rare. When I roast legs etc, I have them pink. Stews need cooking for a day, at least.
-
I use split squats - although dumbell ones and they really do kick your *kitten*.

Y'arr, matey.

If Rugby clubs over there are anything like Rugby clubs over here - most of these topics crop up fairly regularly post match.

Teabag.

Not yet - I have Rugby Training in a bit....followed by the pub, obviously. Saturdays match seems to have been judiciously timed so that we should be done and changed by the time England kick off. I can see that afternoon vanishing too.......
