Two carts. Let him shop for his stuff his way, you shop for your stuff your way.

I also put mine in as strength training.

Oooooo! Good suggestion! I forgot about the sizer thingies. I thought about putting them on a chain, but there's a lot of gold on my rings, so they're kind of heavy. I'd need a rapper style chain to keep the rings safe. I'll go to my jeweler about getting either spacer bars or the sizer thingies!

I'd count it as water, but it has too many chemicals in it for my taste. Why not just squeeze some lemon or orange juice into the bottle of water? Healthier, barely any calories, and no chems. I often take sliced strawberries and put them in a pitcher of water for a refreshing summer drink.

I tried the lemon meringue one and it tasted TERRIBLE. Threw it out, and said no more.

Yup. Definitely okay. Consider it motivation.

turkey broccoli carrots sugar snap peas cucumbers Eat those items EVERY day at lunch (except broccoli, that's my dinner veggie).

Continuing in the "Let's convert her" vein, since the cross pendant didn't work... my other in-laws gave us Christmas ornaments every year for about 3-4 years, until I got it through to them, that hubby doesn't like Christmas trees. We're not talking about mailing one or two ornaments. We're takling about a xerox box sized…

Can you re-gift that one?
-
Unfortunately, really. As revenge, I enjoy reminding her over and over that "The Last Supper" was Passover Seder. It drives her bezerk!
-
Have you asked her WHY she's raising your goal weight? or is it perhaps, that she's setting mini-goals for you, since you're getting close to goal?

Any of Springsteen's older (and faster) music. Check out songs from the Greetings from Asbury Park, Wild, Innocent and the E Street Shuffle, and Born to Run albums. Only one problem with these. I use them when I stationary bike... if they come on the radio while I'm in the car, my feet start to peddle.

I encounter this a lot while on business travel. I either try to break down the ingredients and then estimate how much of what... OR I order something easy to log (example, 2 scrambled eggs instead of omelet with unknown amount of cheese).

MIL gave me a cross pendant.... I'm Jewish.

It's not the bubbles causing bloat, it's the sodium. I too, am a carbonated water junkie. No flavoring, no additives, just bubbles. Check around, there are brands with no sodium at all. OR you can do what I did. I got a Sodastream soda-maker, and I carbonate filtered tap water. I like mine extra-fizzy.

I weigh myself regularly, but record my weight ONLY on Saturday mornings. Just what I do.

LOVE the style of your new bikini. It's PERFECT for you, and you look great in it!! :smiile:

If you want to help your gout, go get some fresh or frozen cherries. There's an enzyme in the cherries that naturally reduces the levels of uric (or was it puric?) acid. I have hereditary gout tendancies, so whenever I want a lobster, I have cherries for dessert. So, eat the cherries instead of the donuts. Cherries are 5…

Eat more veggies. They'll fill you up and hold you over.
-
I weigh every day to keep track on how I'm doing, but I log the weight only once per week.

Also, you may not have the strap in the right position. It has to be right under your boobs -- UNDER your bra... with the transmitting sensor sitting on your sternum.

If it pinched you, it would just hurt and you'd be okay. Kind of like getting pinched by a small crab. If it STUNG you, depending on if you're allergic or not, you'd have varying reactions and might have needed hospitalization. Squish that sucker!!

However, if you've been working out for a while, it will drop significantly. I've been working out for the past 4 months, on average 12-14 hrs per week. My resting bpm is now 42-45. It was kind of funny, I was sitting on the stationary bike last night waiting for my HRM to catch my chest strap signal and when it did, it…
-
I only trust my HRM's readings. For example: Last nite, I did the stationary bike for 45 mins. The bike said I burned 280 cals. MFP said 740. My HRM said 410. I'll trust the mechanism that's actually strapped to my chest.

I'm on week 20 now, but at 18 weeks, I had lost 74 lbs. Yes, you read that right SEVENTY-FOUR LBS. It CAN be done, but you have to count ALL your calories, and hit the gym... a lot.
-
I'm a strictly olive oil kind of person. I love the taste that it gives foods.
-
I turn mine off when I leave the gym floor. Any after burn is a hidden bonus for me.

What's a "cutie"?
-
Count every calorie, eat in moderation and get off my butt for workouts. I think that explains my life these days.

You (and the kids) look simply BEAUTIFUL!!
