  • The craving to eat anything in sight starts about five days before..... The 'too tired for exercise' starts four days before.... The mood swings start about three days before.... The bloating starts two days before.... The 'Oh heck, when will I start' starts the day before... As soon as I start it's all better. I mean to…
  • Hi Wayne - UK also (Warwickshire) - Good luck & welcome :)
  • Started 30 Day Shred this morning wearing my HRM. I'm 5'4 and 148lb and I burned about 160 cals in the 20 minutes. Just shows how different people are!!
  • What can I say Ben - Just amazing. You deserve every word of praise said here and more. You are truely inspirational. You have kept me on the straight and narrow more times than you can ever know. We don't exchange posts often, but I am so glad you are my online friend. Of my 16lb loss, I credit you with at least half.…
  • Mine's on order - seems to be some delay with Amazon UK as my HRM that I ordered two days after 30DS has already arrived! As soon as my DVD arrives I'll be joining you guys x
  • I log it as Aerobics, high impact mostly as it gives me the same buzz that areobics used to give me. But, have just got a HRM so will see what that says for 151lb and 64 inches on Saturday (having a rest week - normally do Zumba 4X a week!! LOVE it)
  • Agree with Egger - though personnally I have a tendancy to pop Ibuprofen & give it 48 hours of rest first! It is definately possible to 'pull' abdominal muscles. They are no different to any other muscle - push too far or just the wrong way and they get damaged like any leg muscle or back muscle. Or in my case currently,…
  • Working at home today, So I'll be joining in - Tigi Tigi - Don Omar today I think. Or Hessa - Hakim. Can't decide - might aswell go with both! 15 minutes - perhaps I'll start early......
  • It helps if you can find something you enjoy - especially to begin with - as no-one finds it easy to get motivated for a chore. Rather than the gym, how about a dance class or Zumba? Or Spinning, Kick Boxing, join a netball team. Even a brisk walk with your favourite music on the MP3. Anything you can look forward to…
  • I'll have to give this a go
  • Rank 2 - Week 3 Day 3 - 16, 21,15,15, 27 - total 94 Got a feeling I might end up repeating week three but for now I'm well happy finishing week 3:happy:
  • Rank 2 Week 3 day 2 - 14, 19, 14, 14, 25 - total 86 That was hard work.
  • Exhaustion test this morning didn't go well - only scraped 21 but managed Week 3 Day 1 OK this afternoon. W3/D1 - 12/17/13/13/22 - Total - 77
  • There are days when I have to cook three different meals. If anyone moaned the dogs would be eating extra:laugh: Is he really moaning because he wants you to all eat the same (which seems a bit weird to me) or is there any other issue? Is he generally supportive of your life style change? Could he be feeling a bit bad for…
  • Week 2 complete Press Ups - W2/d3 - 12/13/10/10/21 (66 total)
  • Started yesterday - and boy can I feel it!! Only just made it & wobbled the last bit of the cool down - not good having to cross a busy road to get home!:ohwell: Might not have been so bad if I hadn't had Zumba and walking the dogs before:laugh: So tired today that after Salsa and Strength training, Partner had to walk the…
  • Rank 2, Week 2, Day 2 10,12,9,9,17 In lieu of the other challenges I've added a few extra upper body exercises. Seems to help a little with the push ups.
  • Repeated Week 1 fine, so Today started week 2 But...I missed Week 1 Day 3 of the Squats and sit ups. Think I'll leave them a week and start again. So...Push Ups only. Rank 2 Week 2 Day 1 - 9,11,8,8,13
  • Shock Absorber is the best I've found. You can get them from most sports shops and from Figleaves. They aren't cheap - £30+ - but they are very good.
  • Didn't this month - but have been miserable as sin. Would rather gain a pound or two (as many women do and as I have done in the past) than feel like this!! The weight goes PDQ.
  • Got to agree with Mrs M:smile: I've had a bad week - mostly hormonal (thank you mother nature) and quitting smoking - and I know how easy it is to let the negative thoughts take over. But you have lost 4 oz - you haven't gained. The guy you like has made his move!!! Fantastic!!! And you can bet he isn't looking at your…

  • Figleaves is another excellent source for bras, sports and otherwise - again not so cheap but go up to some luscious sizes. DDs and Es are quite petite!!! http://www.figleaves.com/uk/home.asp
  • Shock Absorber aren't cheap (last one I bought was £38 IIRC) but they do last well, fit snuggly and you'd never know you had boobs when exercising let alone double D's. On a budget don't discount George at Asda. They definitely do DD, are a good price and are perfectly adequate. Hardly any 'jig' They don't last as well as…
  • Have you tried Shock Absorber? http://www.shockabsorber.co.uk/home/products/sportsbras/index.htm They are the only Bra I wear for sports. Nothing holds or last like them that I've found. I'm only a 36DD but they do not move a millimeter.
  • I must admit this week I have been quite low & way over sensitive. It is the first TOM since starting the heavy working out and quitting smoking and I've put it down to that - change in diet, routine & lack of nicotine. Most months I might get a little low the day before I start, but I know what it is & just let it pass.…
  • I've got the DVD for one of these somewhere. Forgot I had it - it used to be lots of fun but a really full on work out. Make sure you have a big glass/bottle of water handy! Think I might dig it out later - thanks for reminding me about it!
  • Push Ups - W1/D2 - 6/8/6/6/10 Sit Ups - W1/D2 - 10/12/9/9/14 Squats - W1/D2 - 13/16/13/13/25
  • As I struggled with W1D3 I started again, but I'm doing the 200 Squats and 200 Sit Ups challenges along side. So, starting again, Week One, Day One Push ups - 6,6,4,4,13 Sit Ups - 9,9,6,6,13 Squats - 13,16,9,9,21 I'm amazed how quickly I've improved - from an initial test of 7 push ups to being able to max out at 13 after…
  • Poor pup. At four months walking isn't a biggie - but socializing is. Can pup be carried somewhere there are other dogs to play with? or do you have friends with nice dogs pup can mix with? When you get back to walking - remember for the first year, only walk 5 minutes per month old the pup is. So at 4 months, pup should…
