Pale as you can get right here!!! I'm self conscious about it but as I've gotten older I've realized it's not going to change. Tanning = burn. Spray tan = orange. Not an option for me. I'm so sick of hearing people comment on it. "Don't you go tanning or stay out in the sun??" Geee I never thought of that!!! I also hate…

I hear ya! I wear xs-s tops and still have HUGE thighs. Even with weights, cardio, squats, lunges, you name it, the weight stays on and they are not fit at all!!!! JIGGLE JIGGLE! If I gain weight it goes right to the lower half of my body. Don't really know what to do except try to come to terms with the fact that this is…

Really?? I like the Cinnamon and the strawberries n cream. I think they're pretty good. But I've never really liked cream cheese before. Maybe that's why I think they're good! LOL!

I eat it everyday! LOVE it! I put it on my sandwiches and now I tried Wasa multigrain flatbread crackers and it's really yummy on there for a snack!!!

I think I'm getting werid from being on MFP. Sometimes I just won't eat something if I don't know the numbers. Or else I obsess over it all day long thinking that the meal could've been way worse than I thought. IDK, sometimes I just pick things that I think are close but there are so many things that shouldn't be that bad…

yummy!!!

I like it but think about how long it would take to grow back and what it will look like then! Eeeeek!

5'4" SW: 158 CW: 125-129 depending on the day Orignal GW: 120 Now I just want to build muscle to decrease body fat and not focus so much on the scale. Been having a hard time lately!!! Love to have more friends with similar goals!

I'd give mine to a certain someone in my life that loves to rub in my face that she wears a size 00-0 and sometimes those still fall off. All while eating chips, candy bars, and fast food all day long everyday!!! She says things like "I hate people that always want to work out or talk about eating healthy all the time", "I…

This is awesome! Love that suit! I can't believe you are actually heavier in your current picture! Shows what being healthy can do!

No.

5 ft 4 in SW: 158 CW: 128 GW: was 120, but after sitting at the same spot on the scale forever now (since last spring) I've decided to change my goal to lowering body fat % and decrease the inches. Would love to find some friends with the same goals or anybody to help cheer each other on!

30 coming up in November. How did that happen? LOL!

Agreed! My weight has gone up but I feel better, have more energy for workouts, don't want to binge eat all the time, etc. Overall I am happier. I think this week will mark 3-4 weeks of eating at an increased # of cals. I'm going to get on the scale, measure BF%, and take measurements and pics again. It's not all about the…

I have 3 kids, 2 of which are at home with me and the other one is school age. The little ones are 3 years and 18 months. I have to do all working out from home. I try to do it when they are down for a nap which is never at the same time. My 3y/o is sometimes awake when I workout and can play for a while but I have to…

Sometimes you just need a day off. It's okay and good for your body. You have to take rest days. The fact that you're feeling guilty is a good thing! That way know you'll get back on tomorrow! Enjoy your rest day!!!!

Awesome!!!! What else can I say?? What time frame is this?

I've just gone up a couple pounds. I'll be weighing in again tomorrow but I am feeling and looking really "puffy" or bloated. Seems like you can't see my ab muscles and I just feel "big". Thanks for all the anwers and help. Going to leave things where they're at for a few more weeks and see what happens.

When I started I also thought it was easy compared to what I was doing. I upped my weights and I do the harder versions of the workouts. The program gets porgressively harder as you go. For weeks 1&2 I used from 5-15lb dumbells. Just try to challenge yourself. It's different for everyone :)

I wear a small top but a 6 bottom. I carry most of my weight on the hips/thighs. Instead of trying to lose any more weight on the scale, I'm trying to gain muscle and decrease fat % and hopefully will see some measurements go down!

Did my first day of workout 3 today! FUN! I love switching things up. Still not terribly hard IMO but it stepped up a notch from 1&2 and I know that in the coming weeks it's going to get a LOT harder. I'll be begging to go back to these beginning weeks. Tomorrow will be workout 4 and I'm really looking forward to it. I…

Not adding any extra right now. I want to see results without spending hours doing cardio. I was doing oround an hour cardio every day for a long time and all it got me was smaller with no muscles. I also stopped doing that and did JM Ripped in 30 and got great results with much shorter workouts. So for now, I'm going to…

Sounds good! I will have to try them out! Thanks for sharing!!!

I've lost about 30 lbs and never stepped foot in a gym. I've used workout DVD's and just buy equipment for home. It's hard enough for me to get it done while home and I don't have daycre for my kids for me to get to the gym. It is totally possible to lose weight without the gym. I would imagine though, that if you have the…

If you start on a Monday, then Sundays would be your rest day. So I would figure out which day you want to rest on and then start accordingly...have fun!!!

Ok, thanks for explaining!

Maybe I'm just not getting it here but isn't your TDEE much higher than the MFP site because it already gives you extra calories to eat because you are exercising, say, 5-6 x/week? LOL! I think I'm going to understand. I get that you are telling me to NET my TDEE but it confuses me because it's already higher due to my…

I took pictures and measurements. Still can't quite figure out how to take good pics for progress comparison on myself. Tricky!
-
Still not understanding why is we are using TDEE as calories per day, we would eat back exercise calories when an activity factor is already in the equation for TDEE. Can anyone half with this?
-
Also, if TDEE figures in exercise, why do we still eat that much on a non workout day? And if TDEE figures in exerts ecalories, why would I want to eat back more exercise calories on workout days? Is it just to make sure not to be under BMR? It seems like since TDEE already includes exercise cals, I shouldnt eat any more…
