taso42- Thanks so much! I have all the same ideas about the band. I'm tempted to just not even use it. I have a hrm with chest strap but it always estimated about 80-120 calories higher than the bodymedia and I just don't know if I should trust it or not. And if not, why am I using it??? I might as well type a generic…

I clean it everyday with an alcohol wipe and wipes it clean with a cloth at other times. I don't wear lotion or anything on that spot. Can I really switch it to the other arm?? taso42- Can I ask what other reasons you cancelled it for?

I would love to know an exact answer for this too but a lot of people told me to increase slowly allowing body to adjust, watch what your body does and adjust accordingly...

Sometimes I get the same way. I just want the food because it tastes good even though I'm not truly hungry and it seems like once you start you can't stop. I did it yesterday. And then after it's all said and done I really wish I hadn't done it. Ruined a whole day....and then some. I guess you just have a call it good and…

What about HRM with chest strap vs bodybugg?? I really want to say the HRM is more accurate because it's so much higher, but i just make myself put the lower of the two. Sometimes it's over 100 cal difference?!

I noticed myself first because I am the one looking all the time. And then FINALLY about a month ago, someone said, "Have you lost weight?" YAAAAYYYY! It is kind of embarrassing but I figure, you know what? I worked really hard and I am actually super excited that someone noticed. Maybe some people don't say anything or…
-
when you use the HRM do you just subtract some calories for entering your workouts?? I think it got about 70-80 calories higher than the bodybugg :(
-
I also find that when I workout at night I won't want to eat! Most of the time I have to workout really late because it's the only time the kids aren't needing something! On days when I don't workout at night though I also want to eat EVERYTHING! I'm not even sure I'm hungry, I just have major junk food cravings. It helps…

Same boat here...people can even say you don't look like you need to lose anymore weight but that skin is still just theree and sure doesn't make the tummy look thin! I'm hoping that if I keep this up for several years it may eventually tighten up at least some?! IDK?

I just did the same thing and am wondering if they are the cause of a few pund weight gain. Before switching pills I had been steadily losing weight and then I switched, hit a plateau, and have now gaines 3-4 lbs despite eating right and working out 6 days/week?!

Thanks! I judt want to make sure I don't regret spending the extra money to get the better one. I reently purchased a bodymedia fit and don't really like it b/c i realized i really just wanted cals burned from workouts and not all the other cals burned so I am buying a hr monitor after all. i appreciate all the feedback!

Ok so FT4 or FT7?? just as accurate with calorie burn and HR display??

What's the deal with distilled water, I mean, what is it actually?? Dumb question I'm sure not on the shelves they have distilled water and then drining water....

Thanks everyone!

I am eating what I have set up on MFP. However I also have a BodyMedia Fit armband and that is saying that I am burning more than I thought I was just doing day to day activities so there has been a calorie deficit of larger than 500 calories on most days. Do you think I should try yo eat more (won't be hard)! I am just…

Thanks so much guys...very helpful. I did not purchase the display but maybe I will in the future! Again, Thanks!!

Thanks everyone...guess I'll just keep plugging away......

Thanks for the help! I'm just scared to overestimate the calories on my daily log so I know what I can eat. Today I did the 40 min plyometric cardio circuit but there were several breaks in the videlo to get water or catch breath, etc. I'm just not sure if it is truly considered cardio for 40 min. but if your brother in…

purchased body media fit today after all! price on ebay wasnt that much more than a polar and i got a 12 month subscription to the site1 thanks for the advice everyone!
-
So it's looking like the polar may be the route to go for a little less money. Do you all think that the calories burned are pretty accurate though. I really don't want to have it overestimate. Do you think the Polar FT7 then?? Thanks! For those of you that have purchased one from walmart for cheaper, do you find these…

Can someone please provide some input? I could really use some help!
-
I don't have the money for a bogdybugg...what is the next best thing? I really want to know calories burned and I know it won't be 100% accurate, but is there something out there that's close??
-
Thanks everyone for all the great advice and support. It is much appreciated!!

Hi everyone! I just finished the TF prep schedule and am on to day 3 of the regular schedule but I seem to have stopped losing weight! How frustrating! I am going to keep plugging away. I am logging all my food on MFP. The problem I am having is I don't know how to put in my calories. There is no TF in the workout list. Is…
