Haha, I posted a topic titled almost exactly the same earlier. It's a rough day for weigh-ins. I decided that instead of sitting at my desk crying (which I was, in abundance) I would throw on some loud music and get my first day of C25K done and over with. I'm going to try eating all of my calories for a few days (I have a…

Thank you for the kind words everyone. I was so frustrated and angry, decided to go jump on the treadmill and knocked out my first day of C25K. I'm feeling a whole lot better, and you are right, it's making a lifestyle change that I should be aiming for, to be healthier. I need to realize that losing weight is no more than…

I'm in! This should be interesting, since I'm pretty close to the "couch" stage right now.

I was really sore the first day, but the second day I realized I was doing the squats WAY wrong, and after I fixed it I wasn't nearly as sore. My disk is scratched right at the end though and keeps freezing up, so I'm waiting for a new copy before I commit to the full 30 days.

Yeah...I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old, both little girls, and both really interested in EVERYTHING that we pass. I feel more like I'm herding sheep then taking a walk when we go out.

He is his own person, not an extension of you. I think if the coin were flipped, your feelings would be different. Ask him to come with you, but leave it at that. Trying to guilt him into joining you on your fitness quest will only drive a wedge between you. Maybe try suggesting that you spend some time doing what he wants…

Last time, it was probably about 40 pounds down (245-205) that people started noticing. Really, it didn't bother me. I knew that I was losing, and I felt great about it. Working towards that ago, no more yo-yos for me!

I've been wearing contacts for years, I couldn't believe how much it hurt the first time I cut onions with my glasses on instead. Hubby says that chewing gum really helps him. Worth a try.

bumping because I hate shoes.

From working reception at a tattoo parlor, it seems like everyone feels the sensation differently. Some people find ankles hard, others have no issues at all. It's a person to person thing. With tattoos, the closer to bone the more painful generally runs true. My mentor had ink everywhere, from his face to his toes, but…

I do a really low fat diet, and after I stopped cooking with red meat at all, I shortly followed that by not eating it entirely. It really helped me lose weight, because burgers are a big temptation for me. After my husband failed to mention the no-red-meat thing to his mother in law before we visited, I ended up adding it…

I'm offended by the negative associations of that word. By itself, whatever. But using it as an insult is pretty damn offensive to me, whether you are referring to yourself, a friend, or someone you have never met. My best friend of ten years is a size 22, and is because that is where she feels sexy. She isn't lazy, she…

I've been wondering the same exact thing. In an effort to not be depressed by those gains caused most likely by water retention or whathaveyou, I'm challenging myself to a month of very limited weighing, on the 1st and the 15th. Hoping that seeing a loss on weigh in day will be more encouraging than seeing a small loss and…

When I reach my ultimate goal, I'm having a pin-up girl style photo shoot. I've always wanted to do that, but never felt comfortable enough with my body. I have a couple of mini-goals too. Under 200 and I'm getting something new pierced, and when I weigh less then Hubby (probably about 185, but the damn guy regularly drops…

Honestly, I'll be happy as a peach as soon as I can buy clothes from any store, instead of being limited to those that cater to my "curves." An 8 would be fabulous. I started two years ago at a 22 and am now at a snug 16. Gotta get down to 14 soon, all my jeans are 14 and I can only get away with skirts until the end of…

I really enjoy my Pilates video at home. The one I do is faster paced and switches between pilates and aerobics, which I really enjoy. Week three of 5 times a week and already noticing a stronger core. Woot! And it's fun!

^ Love you for that post. Not a patient, but my sister has been asking about it for herself, and it's nice to see a post with actual information when information is requested. Thanks.

Big cups of water with Mio in it and chewing gum. Sometimes, if it's really bad, I'll sneak in a really low calorie food.

Looking fantastic! Well done!

I don't have pictures. I seriously doubt mine will ever be flat. After carrying a 10.5 pounds baby with a prepregnacy weight of 220, I'm doomed. Ah well. It's life. I'll settle for feeling comfortable in a form fitting shirt, really.

Mine is super simple. A handful of ice cubes, a handful of fresh fruit (usually strawberries, yum!) one container of light yogurt and a couple tablespoons of either milk or juice to thin it out. Tasty and a great breakfast.

Hey, I'll be honest. I love smoking. Sure, I'll quit eventually, but if I don't make the decision that I'm ready for it, it won't happen. I know it's bad for me, which is why I use the slightly healthier option of low nic e-cigs. Think you're making a point? You aren't. My argument was that you don't know what you are…

I love to bake, but have some serious issues if there are baked goods in the house. I typically allow myself one single cupcake (muffin, cookie, ect) and then pack the rest up to send to work with hubby. His co-workers love it, I love that I got to bake something, and my diet didn't go down the drain. Maybe find some…

Well, you are on vacation. Typically, that means you are relaxing. Keep an eye on the foods you eat, and don't go overboard, but I would just skip tracking for that week.

Good stuff! You're looking awesome.

"Okay heres the low down on the e-cig..its still nicotine. Basically your still smoking just without the smoke. Its the habit of "puffing" that your gonna have to break, not the addiction itself. The e-cig doesn't help with the habit...I've been a smoker for over 16 years and let me tell you I have tried EVERYTHING." You…

Hmm I think I need to buy some almonds :)

This is such a frustrating issue for me. My kids are 2 and 4. As everyone with kids knows, a 4 year old's favorite phrase is "Do this now!" and a 2 year old's is "No!" It keeps life interesting, and makes "go play in the other room" pretty unrealistic. We do quiet time in the afternoon. An hour and a half in their own…

I started using E-Cigs about six months ago. Really easy to accidentally quit smoking with those. Now if only I would stop bumming smokes off of people at parties, I'd be golden. Gotta make sure to keep it around for when that urge hits. The best thing is you get to decide how much nicotine you want, so really easy to wean…
