No worries! I've scared myself a couple of times this way too. Now, if I have a week off the wagon, I get into routine for a couple of days before I weigh in again. Sure, there will probably still be a gain, but 1.5 or 2 pounds much less scary than 10! It's just your body being off whack from sodium and not exercising.

Really, you only have two months of waiting, since typically, a person finds out at least a month along. Not too bad. I would be comfortable telling my family and closest friends, because they would be able to offer me support if something did happen. Other friends and co-workers, though, would have to wait.

My mother taught me manners, I hold the door for everyone. If someone is walking towards a door I'm leaving or opening, I hold it. Simple niceties, and doesn't cost me a darn thing. Sure hope I haven't offended anyone...I suck so bad at playing gender role etiquette games.

Try upping your protein, it will fill you up for longer. I can say that I am rarely ever hungry and out of calories. My first day was wicked hard, but I promise, it does get easier. Just stick with it, and take it at your own pace. If you need to alter days, than do that. I just started C25K about a year ago, and it was the best program I could have done. You can do this!! Don't be discouraged, instead, focus on what you achieved!

With ya. I'm 175, with 39.5 inch hips, with visible hip bones. I've still got some fluff to lose in the front of those hips, but bones won't shrink. Don't stress, just love them. And yeah, try getting out of the junior section. You'll probably feel better buying jeans meant for women with hips.

Try eating something right after you workout. Something about blood sugar levels. Also, google "Exercise induced headaches/migraines." I've only had one really wicked one, but my vision went spotty for an hour and I couldn't focus my eyes on anything, and it quickly escalated to a vomiting migraine.

Yep, and challenges are really helpful too. If I know I'm coming up on a rough weekend, I can ask my buddies to make sure I close my diary every day, and they will. It's great motivation to keep on track for me :)
