  • Im 5'3 as well, when I first started at my HW was 240lbs, I was averaging 1600 to 1700 cals a day, weekly, little exercise, which got me down to 177 in about a year and half (although admittedly I took a lot of breaks where I maintained in the beginning oops) At 177 now and try to net 1400 to 1600 exercising 4 to 5 days a…
  • 5'3.5 178lbs 12/14 depending. Goal would be a size 7/8 :)
  • I started at about 240lbs size 22/24 about two years ago, currently 180 size 14. The first 30 or so pounds I lost by walking a few days a week for a mile and just netting around 1700 calories a week, easy peasy stuff. I have had a few months the past two years where I tended to fall off the wagon (Not completely I always…
  • Lol I can definitely relate to finding food places of an unusual nature.
  • Agreed! and I love your gif, lol got stuck looking at that beautiful face for a few seconds there lol.
  • If I am feeling ravenous during TOM I usually try drinking a few cups of water and a spoonful of peanut butter. Its a good idea to stock up on healthy snacks like veggies/fruits, no junk food in the house but I still def have days where I go over my calories anyway but I dont dwell too much on it. I just work harder at the…
  • Way to go! It feels amazing to have success, enjoy it!! :flowerforyou:
  • Did just that a few hours ago, treated myself to a whole wheat tuna sandwich :) it was delicious
  • Thank you for your service! I do have a way to go before I even qualify for the weight requirements for my height, after signing up once I reach goal and after meps, by the time I am on way to bootcamp I am hoping to be fit enough to be not be put in the pudgy platoon. =) thanks for your advice and courage, I wish you well…
  • I try to make it a habit to eat every few hours, its easier when Im not working to get a small meal in every 3 hours at least. On days with exercise I try to eat more at each meal but often find myself with a majority of (exercise) calories left over to eat still.
  • My reward is being able to physically qualify to serve in the Military. Im only 30lbs away from goal!! Exciting! I am also entertaining the idea of getting tatt'd again as a secondary treat if I reach my UGW =)
  • Hm well plateaus like this can be tricky to break! My personal experience when I have hit some lulls (not including where I just fell of bandwagon) in the past 2 years of my journey is that sometimes I just wasnt giving my body enough time to adjust when mixing up my exercise or diet. I would get discouraged that the scale…
  • I can successfully wrap any towel fully around myself now! I remember 60 pounds ago I couldnt find a towel that would do that! And a few days ago I biked 7 miles without a sweat and can run up my stairs two at a time without being out of breath
  • I have also noticed the bath tub seemingly becoming roomier as I shrink! Haha, in addition I remember 60pounds ago I could never curl up my legs to my chest and now I can comfortably rest my chin on my knees! and of course exercise has become more comfortable, starting out I recall a mile bike ride would tire me out, these…
