I don't even bother completing the log anymore. It's kind of, well, worthless. Welcome by the way!!

The good news is, if you drink enough beer, you will forget about calories lol

Wait... Is this another MLM scam??

That's why I use a rack and put it on a pan. The grease drips down into the pan. As far as the entry, it would only include the grease (melted fat) for the skin-on in-bone entry I would think. But I could be wrong. ;-)

I always add half the oil (1/2 tbsp) to my tracker.. If its off, it can't be far off.

Honestly, if you can eat within your calorie range and are satisfied there's no need to take a break. The last time I took a week off, it ended up being a year. And I gained back an entire years worth of weight. Just my .02 cents.

I'd love to take part... It would be a challenge to see if I can make it a month. More interesting to see if it helps with weightloss.
-
I always cook with skin on... Keeps the meat juicy. Gets kinda tough when I don't. But I always weigh with bone, and subtract weight of bone after in grams.
-
I've never rinsed it. Never really ever thought about it. Now I'll be wondering if I've been eating dirty rice. ;-)

Welcome!! I just wanted to add, if you can hang in there for 30 days, it becomes habit and much less like a struggle. Good luck to you!

Set smaller goals. Try to make it a week, then 2 weeks. Weight doesn't come on fast and we don't lose it fast either. Hard to grasp I know, but trust me it makes it easier to think of it as a lifelong commitment of a lifestyle change. Have your treats as long as they fit in your calorie allowance.

Yep same situation here.. I hope we learn that the second time around ;-)

All I do is wash them, drain... Cover with water and put on high until they start to boil . Let them boil about 5 mins. Then i reduce to low med heat, add seasonings and cook covered for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Come out perfect every time.

I have binged several times while trying to get adjusted to calorie counting. It does get easier in time. I also felt really bad, but in the grand scheme of things, one big meal won't make you gain weight. Like the other said, log it and move on. Try to do better tomorrow and eventually after 30 days it should become…

I love my Omron scale

That sounds so good... Definitely going to put queso on my shopping list. Thanks!
-
That's great... Congrats!!
-
How does it taste different than regular nonfat yogurt?
-
This is genius, I've never thought about it that way. Excellent idea!!
-
That's how I do it, that way all u have to do next time is change the grams of each item you add.
-
You're welcome... It was too funny not to share lol
-
Yes, they sure did. I had a notice showing but its gone now. Either they removed it or MFP removed it. Either way, its all good. ;-)
-
That's amazing... I remember what that felt like, one day I'll get there again. Lol
-
I know right? Hilarious!!

Whoever reported the video as spam, its a joke. Did you even watch it? It's a parody for Pete's sake.

That kinda defeats the purpose of eating pizza, to eat cauliflower or tortillas. I make my own whole wheat crusts for less than 200 calories for personal size. When I want pizza, I want pizza!! Never tried PB on pizza though lol

MFP is full of smart *kitten* these days... Honestly, I've never subtracted anything. I weigh them with bone in and leave it at that. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
-
I weigh it with the juice included, then drain.

I think they're great... Especially for days when you don't have time to cook while at work. I don't buy them anymore, since I started designating my Sundays to preparing and cooking most of my weekly foods. Lean Cuisine are way too expensive though IMO, you can get the same exact thing in Michelina's or Banquet for $1 or…

That's the scale that I have, and I absolutely LOVE it. I also love that the weighing platform detaches so it can be washed. I didn't pay $49 for it though, I think I paid like 20ish at a reclaimed freight store. I guess I lucked out.
