Thanks for the description. This may be a silly question: do you prepare the quinoa just as you would rice?

Oh for some I reason I thought orzo had more nutrional value. Thanks for the description on the quinoa. I like brown rice but I was also looking for other options to mix up when I get bored.

My diary is open to my friends list . I have a few friends (that I actually know) that critique me and vice versa. It has kept me in track for reaching my goal since we have a trip planned for this summer. It is a choice to make it public or private, for me having this tool really keeps me in check.

I'm 5'3 and 159 lbs. I used to be heavier at almost 170 lbs. My goal is get down to 140 lbs. MFP set me at 1200 calories, I changed it to 1400 which I rarely get to with my eating and exercise. Good luck to everyone!

I sometimes have a small fruit like a banana or pear 30 minutes before I arrive to the gym.
