  • Aqueous cream is highly recommended by dermatologists as it helps retain moisture in the skin....I say this on having spoken with a dermatologist a few years ago....plus obviously keeping yourself well hydrated by drinking plenty xx
  • Hi Scrappy25, Many thanks for the posting on Sarah Lurie and Ironcorekettlebells....have just ordered the DVD. I do do kettlebells, but I wanted something to help me more xx

  • headaches and being thirsty are signs that your body is telling you that you're dehydrated. Don't forget in hot weather we lose weight through sweat/perspiration and your body needs to replace that loss to help your circulation, espesh your heart....xx
  • Monday will be my weigh in day, as that's when I started on this journey :o)
  • I try to drink 2 glasses of water (200 mL) at certain points of the day: breakfast, lunch, tea time and early evening, which should total 1L...which is your daily requirement and just keep in mind that water is a better filter for your kidneys than any soda drink :o) xx
  • I'm in the UK, you can add me too! :o)
  • What about Spinning? Have you tried that? Thats similar to biking :o)
  • Thanks for that advice.....I want to get into cycling....used to love cycling everywhere when I was a kid, have gone and bought some lovely well padded cycle shorts (why is it that bicycle seats are always so uncomfortable?LOL)...and gloves to wear. One of my goals is to be able to cycle into work :o)
  • You've said it all really...agree with you totally xx
  • To be fair, if I did that I would need several piccies before I noticed any difference and sometimes because we're so used to seeing our bodies on a daily basis, we might not see the changes. I think sticking to one set of scales, preferably my own, is the best thing to do....when I go for my 4 monthly check at the gym it…
  • I'll be 50 next year. I want to lose a significant amount of weight before then....well go down at least 3 dress sizes if poss. I lost 35lbs last year with MFP so I know it can be done! I want to be what I consider my 'normal' dress size which was 12-14. I don't wanna be stick thin....I did that with the Nutrisystem diet…
  • I don't think I could manage a Triathlon....not one for running and I'm asthmatic too, but good on you for giving it a go! xx
  • Well, I for one have been well into the Olympics from Day1 and most of my friends and family are well into it as well! Only managed to get along to the football at Wembley, would've liked to have seen more events, but on the whole I feel very proud to be British and think the Olympics being held in London has gone…
  • I prefer mornings and I'm thinking that I must get up a tad earlier (5.30a.m. sounds good). I work 12 hour shifts, so trying to fit in the gym where and when I can....haven't been in the evening yet, but not ruling it out :o) My gym has a creche, so perhaps those of you who have children should check to see if your gym has…
  • I'm going on my jollies in a few weeks and will take one of my Tess Gerritson books with me. Have Kindle on my iPad and will take that too as loads of books on there....trying to finish off the first '50 Shades'.
  • I'm in London, UK but have friends in Raleigh, NC. Please add me xx
  • This is my second attempt to get fit and lose weight. I lost 35ibs last year doing MFP combined with going to the gym, but a 2 week holiday in Florida put me back down the slippery slope and I went back into old eating habits. My current plan, is to start back at the gym and MFP, but I have another holiday in Florida in a…
  • I'm from UK....please add me as your friend xx
