Do what makes you happy. And I too think you are under eating for your body build and exercise level, but if what you are doing is working then by all means keep on doing it. And congratulations on doing so well. I hope to be making a post just like yours by the end of summer.

I have lost 40 and need to lose another 40, but lately I still feel fat. I measured my belly and it was 45 inches and for some reason I expected it to be smaller. Now I measured it at it's biggest point (my belly button), but it seems so far away from 32 inches. I know I just need to keep doing what I am doing and one day…

Thank you every one. I am going to start looking into it more.

I would like to know which meal replacement protein bars you consider good. I do like them on occasion when I don't have time to eat. Right now I am eating a Cliff bar.

I think the general consensus here is to only drink one or two drinks and you should be OK in the long run.

I think if you have lost weight in the past and then regained it then other people will less likely say anything to you. For me it becomes noticeable at about 30 pounds.

You may naturally burn more than average. I am on the lose 2 pounds a week plan and I lose about 3.5 pounds per week on average. I guess we are the lucky ones.

Gorgeous...before and after.

I only had it happen to me once. The bar wouldn't go down all the way when I tried to ride the harry potter indoor roller coaster in Florida. I had to get off and wait for a seat for bigger people. They actually had bigger seats. It was a little bit embarassing and not something I want to go through again.

Yes, I do. The diary is mostly for my benefit. It helps me fine tune my diet so why not be honest.

You are not alone. I personally up my calories for Saturday and Sunday to give myself some room to eat some of the items I don't eat during the week like a beer or a cheeseburger. I think it is important to allow yourself to eat food that you enjoy but to also use some discipline and not overeat those same foods.

More than likely will be a chicken and HJ day for me.

Food scale or weigh in scale? Why does the weigh in scale need to be accurate? as long as it is consistent. If I lose 2 pounds this week I want the scale to reflect that, but I can live with the scale being off by one pound for my overall weight as long as it is always off by one pound.

I second the Seafood Brodetto if you like seafood and it is about 500 calories. I am going to the Olive Garden thursday night and I plan on ordering it.

If it is above the neck supposedly you can work out, but it might not be fair to those around you like in a health club.

You're funny. You know Brad isn't getting any younger either.

Doctors will always tell you to stop doing what hurts...common sense really.

I think you should definitely eat back your exercise calories. And depending on how long and how hard you exercise you might need to take a week off from working out to give your body a chance to recover.

I take my glasses off while I am using the cardio machines but I have a real hard time reading the displays. Sometime I put them in the plastic cup holders, so that I can put them on to read the display.

It is probably a good idea to give your internal organs a rest once in a while by fasting.

I plan on watching the scale once I hit my goal weight. If I gain 5 pounds then it is time to start counting calories again.
-
I measure most of my food. You can get an inexpensive scale at walmart that works perfectly fine.

If you lift heavy enough you don't really need to hit each body part more than once a week, so you could work out your whole body in a couple sessions a week. Most suggest 3x a week and they split the body up into workout sessions like Day 1 Back Biceps abs Day 2 Chest Shoulders Triceps Day 3 legs But how often depends on…

You look great. Keep doing whatever you are doing.

I just turned 45.

I did it for four days. I was starving but my mental clarity was off the charts. A low carb diet (less than 20grams of carbs) has the same effect on me.

I love Italian followed by Thai and Sushi. I hate Indian food (spicy mush)

Nuts, Eggs, Protein bars, Cheese. I mostly snack on nuts, but be careful because they are heavy in calories. The most I will eat at one time is 2 ounces and that is like one handful.
