I'm six weeks and can't do anything either! It's hard enough to stay awake at work. I used to run or go to the gym five or six times a week, and now even a leisurely walk makes me exhausted. I really want to stay fit through this pregnancy (my first), but I have no energy at all!

I'm in the same boat. I'm 6 weeks along and my morning sickness is out of control. I feel nauseous almost all the time, and I can't go near the foods I could tolerate yesterday. I feel like my diet is so atrocious right now, and I'm not tolerating ANY protein well at all. Yesterday I survived on applesauce and a piece of…

I'm 6 weeks pregnant, and my stomach is so finicky that I find myself filling up on carbs and sweets, which for some reason I can tolerate. I'm normally a pretty healthy eater, so this is distressing! Add me. :)

Ok, I admit it, I had a binge. Date of binge : 7/29/13 Time of binge : 4-5:00 PM Location of binge : In my kitchen Body language during binge (e.g. Sitting, standing, slumped, tense) : Standing Company kept (alone, friends, family, partner etc) : Alone (I'm always alone during binges) Approximate calories consumed during…

I'm in the same boat! I just raised my calorie goal to TDEE -15%, after realizing that maintaining on 1200 or so calories a day wasn't a great way to live (and not consistently eating back exercise calories). I weigh in for the first time on Thursday (I weigh myself every week), a little nervous, but I feel a lot better!…

Could I have an invite as well?

So many great ideas!
-
Thank you! I'll try that.

I'm about to bump up to TDEE-20% myself, glad to hear that this is working out so well for people.

Hello, I'm new to the group and to the idea of eating more to lose weight! For years my weight has ballooned, and then a few years I went on a very restrictive 1000-1200 cal diet and lost 60 pounds. I'm happy with my weight now, but losing a few extra pounds wouldn't hurt. The thing is, I'm sick of maintaining at 1000-1200…

Geneen Roth's books have helped me a lot. 'Women, Food and God' was a big eye-opener and made me realize I wasn't the only one out there.

Peanut butter. I eat at least one tablespoon every day.

I've been eating pretty late (about an hour before I go to bed) recently because of a medication I've started taking. I save half of my dinner, and eat it then. It thought it might make me feel full or bloated during the night, but I'm fine and ready for breakfast in the morning.

I make a lot of recipes from the Happy Herbivore cookbooks. They're fast and easy, and low in fat and calories. Last night I made the Hawaiian Teriyaki Chickpeas, which had three ingredients plus rice. I added a lot of mustard greens to mine to get my veggies, but my non-vegetarian boyfriend ate it with just rice and told…

Yum! Must try this! Here are some of my under 100 calorie snacks: - baby carrots and reduced guilt guacamole from Trader Joes - string cheese - one piece of whole wheat or sprouted bread, toasted and topped with sliced cucumber and 1 tsp of spicy brown or dijon mustard - laughing cow low-calorie wedges - 1 T of dark…

I'm also a firm believer of coupons. You don't have to go overboard, but I'm typically saving 30% to 50% per grocery trip using them, and there ARE a lot of healthy-purchase coupons out there, not just junk food.

Rice, beans (I use kidney or black beans) and a can of corn makes a nice, hearty dinner with some spices thrown in. I also second the Aldi's suggestion, they have amazing prices on frozen fish and fresh vegetables.

Feel free to add me. I struggle with binges myself, and it would be nice to have a friend who understands/might be able to back me down from the binge-eating cliff.

I've just started taking lo loestrin fe about a week ago, and have been freaked out about weight gain. This is the first hormonal birth control I've ever been on, and I am terrified about gaining weight. I have lots of friends who said they gained 10-20 pounds on birth control. I specifically told my gyno my fears, and she…

Congrats! I also used my first tattoo as a reward for losing weight, and now have three pretty big tats - two on my upper arms and one on my right hip. Only the hip one hurt, you should be fine!

I lost 50 pounds over the past few years, and that basically broke up my marriage. My ex-husband was extremely threatened by the fact that I was thinner and had more self-confidence. I am now eight months into a relationship with my new boyfriend, who is thrilled by how I look but doesn't quite understand why I need to…

Feel free to add me as well! Support is always welcome. :)

Oatmeal with two tablespoons of honey roasted peanut butter! Mmm.

So excited to try this!!

I have 30 cal packs of miso soup that are great when I just need a little something. I also have pretzel rods -- one rod is 35 cals, and I'm pretty good at restricting myself to just one. Another healthier snack is three cups of lettuce with three tablespoons of salsa and sometimes a few black olives. Very low cal and…

I'm a pescatarian who cooks mostly vegan at home. I love fatfreevegan.com and all the Happy Herbivore cookbooks -- she has a website with free recipes too. Very low cal, tasty and filling!

Thank you so much! I happen to have 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree in the fridge that I had no idea what to do with, and always lots of instant oatmeal. Will try this tonight!
