  • I'd also highly recommend seeing a doctor before doing too much if having back problems. I don't have any back issues but here is what I think is a pretty low stress core workout. If you can't do them all at least you may be able to do some. For people with lower back pain the chest raises may pose an issue, but try it out…
  • I think you may need to change your way of thinking. The exercise and healthy eating should be a lifestyle change, not just a way to have lost "x" amount of weight. You need to keep incorporating these into your everyday life for the rest of your life. It's ok to have 'cheat meals' or moments but if you aren't committed to…
  • @FlTNESS @ExerciseExpert @dolvett (side note to this, don't follow Bob Harper. All he does is try to sell his own stuff and sponsors stuff. I haven't heard this much about Quaker oatmeal in my life!) You can just search fitness or nutrition then just look through some pages you might like. Shaun T is pretty motivating too.
  • Got some more done yesterday after my workout. Week so far: 80 push ups 70 goblet squats 90 scissor kicks\ Let's push hard to end the week. Everyone let us know how you're doing!
  • Was sick for a few days but squeezed in some of these last night with my other workout. Week so far: 50 push ups 25 goblet squats 30 scissor kicks Going to repeat this tonight, probably up the scissor kicks. How's everyone else doing this week??
  • Boo Sabres!! Give us back Ott! Although I am happy we have Roy now, can't say most Stars fans feel the same as me though. Ott will be missed, you guys enjoy him!
  • i don't know about the condition you have but I have had friends with thyroid issues that make it hard to lose. They just did some research and through trial and error of different diets found one that worked for them. Don't give up because then you certainly won't lose anything. Exercising in general always makes me feel…

  • With less or not much exercise then the only way to lose would be eating fewer calories. That doesn't mean you won't lose by eating 1300. You may just have to do it for a week or so and see what happens at 1300. Then try to exercise when you can. Even 15 minutes of body weight exercises every day is better than nothing at…
  • I'm in. Also going to try and catch up on the push ups from last week. Let's keep these going! Here's a video or scissor kicks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWKTmFv76I8 Here's one for goblet squats in case anyone needs it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbZac-6H9bs My goals for the week: Goblet squats - 30lbs - 80 reps…
  • Stick to grilled chicken and veggies at the restaurant. Sure they add seasonings that may not be super healthy but its better than a plate of baby backs! haha. Also, Michelob Ultra has a pretty decent taste. I started drinking it at hockey games because I'm not a Bud fan and its pretty good and has less calories. Just do…
  • Use that guy as motivation! Next time you're thinking about not working out or even during your workout, think of that moment right there. It'll fire you up to do another set of push ups or run another 5 minutes! Turn the situation into something that works positively for you!
  • There is a lot of great advice here. I really like the suggestion to volunteer or take a class...something for yourself. Doing this will help you tremendously. Also, keeping away from the social media is key. You can't keep reminding yourself of all that crap. After a break up, 'women heal and men ho' haha. Not trying to…
  • I just saw this today, but I'd be in for next weeks challenge. I'm not much of a runner if that is included but it may be good to mix it up a little bit. I'll check back here for when the new one gets posted.
  • Don't be discouraged. Holidays are hard on any diet/lifestyle changes. Just re-focus and get back into it. Try different ways to exercise until you find one you like(elliptical, yoga, cycling)! Just get moving! Walking can be boring but you say you're getting married, maybe get your fiance involved with walking or other…
