Yes, I have PCOS... Endo started me on Victoza this time last year for weight loss but I had a bunch of other health issues to deal with so I went off of it. I started the Metformin in december and added in the Victoza about 2 weeks ago. I'm supposed to eventually make my way up to 2.4-3.0 with the victoza and 2000-2500…

While it might be vile it seems to serve a purpose. I appreciate your option but I am going to keep taking it.

No he started me at 0.6 to increase up to 2.4-3.0 as needed. Right now I'm good at 1.2.

Actually my drug plan covers it just not the needles because I'm not diabetic which I find absolutely hilarious. I also have supplemental coverage through innovicares so I pay $0 for the victoza. And my dad gives me needles from his supply cause he gets them free.

No I'm not diabetic, I should have added that in. I am suspected to have PCOS but I no longer have a uterus just my ovaries. We don't have winco here.

I serve this with whole wheat spaghetti with a "sauce" that I make out of Chicken Broth, Garlic, and Shallots. I top that with…

Oh and I make stuffing for the Chicken (with sausage and bacon and multigrain bread) and I baste the chicken with Beer. And I make gravy out of the drippings. So not the healthiest meal but if you eat it in moderation, it's fine. and it's DELICIOUS.

I usually roast a large chicken (we get HUGE Chickens - like 11lbs) from the Hutterites here in Alberta... I serve it with Broccolini done with Lemon & Garlic Carrots with Butter & Fresh Dill (REAL Butter, not margerine, and not a ton of butter.) And my Cheese "Mashed Potatoes" (I use half cauliflower/half potatoes) and I…

I mix it with a little bit of olive oil (but you can omit that) I also add Lemon Juice Fresh Ground Pepper Fresh Dill and Old Fashioned grainy Mustard. Alternately I put it on top of tossed salad and use Salsa as a dressing. If you like Creamy Tuna you can mix it with fat free cream cheese or greek yogurt.

Even if you find it time consuming to count calories/track your foods by entering them into here or anything similar, you should quickly jot down what you're eating and an approx portion (even if you have a stick of gum, a sip of wine, a sample of cereal, etc..) This is less time consuming - and it's proven to help people…
