Hi.... I started Tuesday, again!! Have over 100lbs to loose. Could really do with some support and help as I do well for a few weeks and then loose motivation!

I think I might be in need of a mentor if there is anyone out there. I have over 100lbs to lose and my motivation tends to drift after a few weeks.

I work for an organisation that delivers 12 step treatment to addicts and one of the things we encourage is that people focus on the similarities of the stories of others rather than the differences. Therfore you can identify with people who have had similar experiences.

Mainly introvert but have become more extrovert as I have got older, although find some social situations very strange at times. I think my job has made me have to be more extroverted.

At the end of the day if a behaviour starts to interfere with your relationships, finances or lifestyle in a negative way then it is an addiction.... food addiction exists. Food alters your brain chemisry (dopamine, seratonin and enorphines) this is addictive in itself

I said I was light exercise as I do a couple of days a week

I did Lighterlife 5 years ago, lost 7 stone within 6 months and have put it all back on over the last few years. I didn't learn to maintain so went back to my old habbits.

My mum has the tendancy to refer to me when I was skinny as if it is a seperate person.... or as if I have had a complete personality transformation. She also every now and then has these "chats" with me where she goes on and on and on about my weight and then if I tell her I am trying to lose weight she will go on about…

I'm a manager and find my staff are the worst part of my job.... I have had to devise a computer timetable for a 38 and a 26 year old so they can share nicely!!
