Beginners exercise
I was after some advice on exercise. I have joined the gym and have been going 4 times a week for the past 3 weeks. I do around 40 minutes of cardio - usually crosstraining. I know the advice is to do some strength training but have no idea where to start.

A small NSV
Well today I put on a pair of jeans that I was bought for Christmas and I have only worn once as they looked too tight and gave me a really bad camel toe (blushing).... but today they fit perfectly :-)

BMR/TDEE
Ok so I get the principles of this (I think!) so want to double check that I am correct in the following: My BMR is calculated at 1487 My TDEE = 2045 So realistically I should be netting around 1600 to lose weight?

Self sabotage
I am my own worst enemy, as soon as I start doing well and lose weight I then end up doing something stupid and then throw it all away. Usually after 2 or 3 weeks of doing well. I started on 7th Jan and then today my eating has gone completely off key already...... Anyone else do the same?

First week weigh-in
So have just done my first weigh-in and have lost 2lbs. Not brilliant but not too bad considering I have been less than angelic this weekend... let week 2 begin!!
