Beginners 5K training plan

Hi
I want to start back running after 18 months off due to an ankle injury. Anybody got any good training plans as my fitness has fallen quite a lot recently so know it will be a big struggle.... any help would be most appreciated!!

I have used the C25K app0

C25k (couch to 5k). There are tons on versions available-just google it and you'll find a bunch. You'll alternate walking and running, gradually increasing the time you run and decreasing the time you walk over a period of many weeks. Good luck!0

After 18 months you're really beginning over, but since you used to run I think there's going to be the temptation to do too much, too soon to try to get back where you were. If I were you, I'd do C25K and stick with the plan. It will probably seem slow for a former runner, but I think coming back from an injury you really don't want to risk another one.
