Also, any good gym should tell you what level of fitness the class is aimed at, so that you know you'll be physically capable of it, even if you can''t quite follow the routine yet. Also, if you're shy about asking questions in person, why not just phone the reception and ask everything you need to know? Write down your…

Mine seems to work fine - at rest my pulse is about 60, which is the same as if I measure 'by hand' and for about a 40 minute aerobic workout (all I have tested it on since I got it) the calories burned is just over 300, which is a bit less than the MFP value but what I would expect as I have heard the MFP values are a…

Wow, I'd be over the moon to look like your before picture, but your after pic is gorgeous. Well done!!

You CAN do it, it just takes a liittle longer when you have babies in your life as you don't have quite the amount of 'spare' time you once had. Just try to be generally active if you find it hard to fit in actual 'named' exercise like classes, gym, etc. So walk wherever you can move around in the house, dance to the radio…

MMm, don't know if you can watch it in the States - don't think our iplayers will work for you as your IP address is not a UK one. Someone will probably come along with more techie knowledge than me in a minute, though.

I REALLY don't like Jessie. Hope she doesn't get it. She just looks like she needs a slap, sorry! And agree, not Kevin, either. Aside from that I don't mind.

Thanks, have just ordered one online. Have been looking at getting one for a while but was put off by the price of others. The reviews on the Lloyds site are good, so hopefully it will work fine!

I have done exactly the same thing, but also chucked my phone onto the front seat. Ended up having to talk 2 year old daughter into unpopping her seat, finding my key, and pressing the button until it opened the doors. 2 year old is now 9, and doesn't remember it at all, so don''t worry, it wont cause any lasting damage!!…

I'm in Northamptonshire, too. Feel free to add me anyone!

saute some roughly chopped onion and garlic in a squirt of low cal oil spray. Add some water if they start to stick. add some veg - I add whatever needs used up in my fridge/freezer, so green beans, aubergine (eggplant), courgette (zucchini), mushrooms, leeks etc. It always looks like it is far too much veg, but when…

Nope, just sticking to my daily calories on MFP and doing moderate exercise when time/kids/job allows, and never eating back all of my exercise calories.
-
I don't log coffee and tea, just the little bit of sugar I have in it - though only have 3 or 4 cups a day. Also don't log veg as it would drive me up the wall having to log every tiny thing, and I figure that calorie-wise having some salad and a bit of steamed brocolli isn't going to break the bank. I'm losing steadily,…

Maybe try doing it again but do the easy versions where possible, ie. keep it very low impact, don't do such deep squats, use lighter weights etc. So hopefully you'll still get a bit of a workout, but wont hurt too much!

Just pick yourself up and keep going! Everyone has an off day/week/month or two, so you're not alone. Maybe post more about what it is in particular that you find hard, and we can support you with it - and next week when we've had a bad day you can support us back!

You look fabulous, great result!!!

The Black Dagger Brotherhood vampire books. I know they're not literature, but I just can't help myself!

Welcome and enjoy, this site works, that's all I can say!!!

Well, he could have put it in a nicer way, but if it's true then there's not much you can do about it!! Sounds like he needs some lessons in manners tho ;-) Still a good thing as you've lost enough that it's noticable, even if it wasn't mentioned in the most charming way!

That's a great way to keep track, using a belt, as different trousers fit differently, but the belt is like a true representation. I do the same - been using the same belt for all my journey now - and have to keep punching new holes in it!

Would have to agree with this one! mmmm Swedish buttocks ;-)

Wowl, you look amazing, much more toned. Well done!

I think I love my Berlei Shock Absorber bra! Not glam looking, not pretty, but really keeps them under control ;-)

I'm here too - Northamptonshire, though Scottish at heart! Feel free to add me ;-)

I find pilates aggravates it - the repetitive small movements I think. Also, swimming, if I do too much breaststroke as I seem to flex my lower back when my head comes up out of the water. However I tend to do 10 lengths breaststroke, then 10 lengths crawl, and that stretches me out again and I'm fine afterwards.

Try streaky bacon wrapped round glace cherries done on the BBQ (or at a pinch under the grill). Sounds gross but OMG, mmmmmm sweet, salty, crunchy....

This is mine too, must be the Scottish thing!! Has to be a strong cheddar and strawberry jam though!
