Hey again Chipmunk! I started RI30 yesterday. My lower back is sore today from all those bending moves!!
-
Doesn't look like I'll make it quite to 50 - but it'll give me something to aim for next month!

I finished! WOO HOO! I feel amazing. I did Level3 Day10 on Saturday. I lost 5.6 lbs, but haven't measured yet --- very busy weekend. Yesterday I started Ripped in 30. It was similar in some aspects, challenging in others. I'm glad there are 4 levels this time - maybe that'll help with the boredom factor. I will update with…

Way to go! You did an excellent job --- I hate hills too! I'm hoping to run a half sometime in the next year.

Way to go everyone! Azurastar, a lot of knee pain can come from the lunges, so try to do the modified ones. There are lots more lunges in the next 2 levels. so take it easy to save those knees :) Aliann, so glad you're back at it! Hope your sunburn is all healed - do you have a great tan now!?!? Joyful Life, Level 3 is…

Only 5 days left :) Chipmunk - I'm afraid to preview RI30! Think I'll wait and preview this weekend. Myverticalsmi - congrats and fantastic results!

I just looked at my weight loss chart for the last 3 months and each month I notice a small little plateua that last 3-4 days. Yep, that's my period plateau. Now that I know it exists, I don't get frustrated when my TOM comes cause I know how it affects me. I'm still losing at a great rate, just not those 4 days every…

Need to step it up the last half of the month to make my goal ...

Hey guys! I did L3D3 yesterday - I LOVE this workout! I'm sure I'll be bored by day 10, but I really look forward to doing it --- guess that's how Jillian suckers you in to buying her next DVD!!! I'm not perfect at any of the moves, but feel more motivated to do them - and this level really makes me feel strong, esp the…

I read on another post here that someone uses ovaltine instead of cocoa powder - guess it has a lot of vitamins and minerals with little sugar... not sure if that would fit into your plan or not, but maybe worth a look?

Congrats! I recently hit my midway point and crossed into the "healthy" BMI too :) It's such a good feeling and you should be so proud! I too, have another 15 pounds to lose. Keep up the good work!

Just did Level 3 day 1 - that 25 minutes went by FAST! I actually had fun! It was def hard work with all that jumping around, and I couldn't quite keep up with Natalie, but am impressed with my progress. Hopefully my shoulder won't protest too much and I can finish just NINE MORE DAYS! Lee - so sorry you got injured. Def…

I'm doing both right now. Today I start level 3. I found that burning 200 calories with 30DS wasn't enough for me, plus I really wanted to keep my running up. I'm a new lover of running (always HATED it before). I do cardio after I do the shred workout, and it does make the run a little harder, but it has really worked for…

Orzo, quinoa, barley. Also, have you tried pearl couscous - the grains are bigger and might be easier for you to handle the texture.

I did Level 2 Day 10 yesterday - woo hoo - level 2 is done. Of course I previewed Level 3 --- looks like more cardio based moves. I'm kinda excited about it! I am doing progress pics/measurements tonight. I am running 3 days a week in addtion to 30DS, but I have seen amazing results. I'm down over 6 pounds in 23 days (I…

5 more this weekend, including a PR in a 5k! WOO HOO!

Travelin - My shins are always achy after a Jillian workout. It's a lot of jumping moves that put a lot of pressure on your lower legs (jumping jacks, jump ropes, squat thrusts, plank jacks). Those muscles also get stronger the more you use them, so just make sure you stretch them really well, especially after a run. And…

Congrats! What a great feeling! I think you are well on your way to a 6 or even (gasp) a 4! A similar thing happened to me last night when I tried on a size 8 dress for a wedding I'm going to in August and realized I might have to wait till closer to the date and possibly (hopefully) have to buy a 6!

IF you have a smart phone, there's an app called "Sworkit" that allows you to design your own workout based on type, body part, time, etc.

There's a recipe for mini turkey meatloaves (made in a muffin tin) on bodybuilding.com (a Jamie Eason recipe). They are surprisingly super delicious!

I love the motivation on this thread! I really don't want to do it today, but checking in here (and the thought that I only have 4 more level 2 workouts to do) is motivating me to just do it! I have been running 3x a week in addtion to 30DS. Anyone else doing anything extra?

I used to have sciatica really bad and losing weight has helped tremendously. I don't think you can cause any injury by walking through it. Definitely stretch really well and maybe try to see a physical therapist that can give you specific stretchess. If you think the sciatica is caused by a pinched nerve and you're afraid…

Did L2D4 yesterday and it is getting easier, but i don't like this level. Is Level 3 any better? I hate alternating lunges!!! Hubby told me yesterday that my back is looking slim again. Guess all those row and V raises are helping.
-
3.5 more yesterday! I can't believe how many people are saying "slow start" when they are doing so well. Be proud of ALL the miles you're logging:)
-
Went for a run with my husband and he commented that it's the longest he's ever seen me run without stopping :)

Every little bit counts, walked half a mile today (well, really .62, but I'll round down!)
