My biggest challenge is that since they are so active at work and REQUIRED to stay fit, my husband can eat pretty much whatever he wants. Jealous! It's hard to be good when he's sitting next to me chowing down an entire tray full of wings and beer!

When my goal was to lose weight, I only weighed in once a week, on Fridays (I HATE Monday weigh ins!). Now that I'm in maintenance I step on the scale almost daily, more for informational purposes to see how different things affect my weight. I learned that Christmas and New Years break affects my weight very poorly ;)

I ran a HM in Nov and did 75% of my training on the treadmill. I just followed the plan. I did my long runs outside though, the thought of being on a treadmill for 2 hours was a bit daunting, but one hour is fine! Good luck :)

While in weight loss mode, I weighed and logged the weight weekly. Now in maintenance I weigh weekly but only record it once a month or so. Bodybuilding.com has a lot of good programs you can look into. I would also suggest asking at your gym if someone that works there can show you around the weights and recommend a program.

I'm in the same situation as you. I met my arbitrary "goal" and I'm fit and feel great, but see pics and feel like I could stand to lose a few more pounds, or atl east tone up the jiggly bits. But I am enjoying eating maintenance calories ;) I think I'm going to stay at maintenance and add some heavy lifting.
