I like mine......its good for tracking steps and giving you a burn calculation when working out. I do know people who have stopped using it tho, as they felt they were eating more, as the fitbit was 'giving' them more calories.

I'm so with you. I lost 21lb in 2013......put almost all of it back on in 2014. I have just reviewed what went wrong and am officially back on track! On overused phrase but so true. I think I was in denial for much of the year.....I plan on losing the weight plus some and getting to my goal once this year.

Fee free to add me......I put some weight back on, but I have about 14 - 18lb to go.

Thanks everyone........well today is my first 'fast'. I have calculated my intake for today and it comes in at 600 cals which I am happy with for the first day. I have made some lamb stock and veg soup for lunch and I am having seafood for dinner. I have factored in an emergency apple lol. It is 11.16 here and I haven't…

I agree - Insanity is INTENSE! I started with 30DS after having my baby to get my core fitness back and then moved onto Insanity.....you don't want to get injured, Insanity can be hard on the knees and back!

I'm in UK - feel free to add me x

White wine .......:blushing:

I was able to trot along nicely losing weight and getting fit whilst drinking wine and I have now stalled with about 14 lb to go...I am a healthy weight and am happy with how I look and feel, but those last few vanity lbs wont drop off. I am at the stage now that I only lose the weeks I abstain....Even nailing my exercise…

Intuitive eating and having babies got me here lol

I find it actually helps with pains etc......just do lower impact and you will be fine!

always looking for new friends

Get sweaty at least once a day, doesn't matter what it is but find something enjoyable, log your food, set yourself goals and (although it pains me to admit) ditch the booze.

Motivation does come and go but if you get into a good routine it will become habit. When I started working out again after the birth of my second child ... I hated every minute of it. Now I cant get enough.....and it has become a daily routine that I stick to, even if it is just getting my boys and going out for a walk or…

It was OK, but totally over rated...dont fall for the hype. House of Cards is a much better series to get into

Yes it's all in the mind.... I am about 18 months into my new way of life and I really had to just accept it as that, a new way of living. Because once the initial 'easy' weight comes off it is disappointing at times. I can go a month at a time now without any loss, but I try to focus on other improvements to my health and…

Great work - I know how hard this is as I am actively trying to drop my 'all or nothing' attitude! Well done
-
I am on week 4 of Alpha....its not as hard as insanity at the moment, but I hear it gets much more intense in Beta. I like it as I can fit it in when short of time, I can squeeze it in before work at lunch time and at night the 25 minutes always makes me get my trainers on if I cant be bothered. Even better I am still…

Yes I would, but I wouldn't eat back.....

People who log every minuscule activity as exercise (i.e. cleaning, sex, standing, breathing) ... then eat back their 'exercise calories' - these activities are not exercise and didn't stop you getting fat in the first place!!!
-
No ... I wash every 2 - 4 days and the sweat doesn't really bother me! I have long curly hair and I find it actually looks better as the week improves
-
doesn't everyone do it
-
I have 14 lb to lose ... everyone feel free to add me. Maybe we cold start our own wee group?
