  • Hi! I have a 12 week old and a 23 month old, I'm 35 and work full time (over 60 hours a week). I'm at 138 as of this morning, was 155 when I gave birth on July 25th and was 124 before getting pregnant the 2nd time. I was 140 when I got pregnant with my first, so actually lost all the baby weight and then some by the time I…
  • I travel often for work as well, and what I've found works for me is I stay in hotels that have microwaves in the room so that I can grab a lean cuisine at a local store and have that for dinner after working out in the hotel gym. If I have to go to a business dinner, I'll get something very minimal if there aren't healthy…
  • aliwhalen - I tried cycling a little last week, but find it very hard to do less than 900 net cals without feeling really sick, so was hoping not to have to keep doing that to break the plateau. jenlei7231 - I recalculated my stats and my BMR is 1312 and TDEE is 1919. So I guess taking 20% off the TDEE would suggest I…
  • Thanks jenlei7231! Do you think I should bump up to around 1,400 net a day or more? I'm so afraid to bump up and have it backfire on me, but I'm so sick of being in this plateau.
  • Thanks Jennloella! I'm not breastfeeding anymore, but I am wondering if I'm not eating enough still. Good point on the sleep too - I get about 5-6 hours. I work full time (about 60 hours a week), and my husband is a stay at home dad so I usually get home from work around 8pm (I leave at 7am), play with my daughter then put…
  • Hi! I'm in a very similar situation! I'm 35, 5'4'', have a 23 month old daughter and 11 week old son. I work a lot (husband is a stay at home dad), but still manage to exercise (cardio and weights) 4-5x a week. I gained 32 lbs with my first kid, then lost all that plus an additional 16 lbs so I got to my goal weight of 124…
  • Hi! I started using MFP back in January 2013 after I had my first baby in November 2012. I was 172 lbs when I gave birth, up 32 lbs from pre pregnancy weight of 140. By October of 2013 I had lost all the baby weight plus an additional 16 lbs! I am 5'4" so at 124 lbs I was very happy with my shape and muscle tone from my 5x…
  • Forgot to add I'm 35 years old. Not sure it matters, but maybe because I'm a year and a half older than last time I lost it all it is harder given a slowdown in my metabolism?
