I've completely deflated. I was a very large 38DD and am a standard 36DD now. It may not sound like a big loss, but let me tell you, it's a big loss - to the point that I NEED them to be put back where they are supposed to be... if you know what I mean.

Way to go! That's quite the difference! Keep it up! And I'll give you the early congrats on getting under 200!!!

The answer is "yes" It is best to mix it up. Some short and intense days and some longer "steady" workouts.

Not a chance... I don't share well enough to share a man!

You WILL get there because you're doing it for the right reason! Great job thus far and enjoy the rest of the journey!

OK... I truly didn't think it was possible for Pennywise to get scarier. Thank you for opening up a new realm of possibilities for me.

I have essentially lived on the burrito-a-day diet... I make my own meat mixture - many different versions of beef or chicken or even port - add quinoa, a veggie mix, beans, &/or rice with some low fat cheese in a wheat tortilla. I add organic salsa and 505 Green Chili. Good to go. Delicious and usually around 400 calories!

Having some GOOD high cal snacks around like almonds or almond butter is a good way to bump those up pretty speedily. Almond butter with some honey wheat pretzels, an apple, pear, toast.... yummy and great for you! And I second cruiseking... I almost never ate my calories back at the beginning but now, I NEED that food.

I make chicken burritos. You just take a couple chicken breasts (or thighs for that matter) and cut them up into bite-sized pieces and cook them on the stove with taco seasoning, onions, and salsa or low sodium canned tomatoes. Then get a tortilla (I usually use low carb whole wheat) and some low fat cheese with green…

Where it is true that it takes more effort and therefore typically burns more calories the more you weigh, everyone's body works differently. That is one of the reasons a heart rate monitor is handy to have around (I personally don't have one, but that is the very reason I want one). Some people will burn less, some will…

likely because you don't have any weight to lose. And if you're losing weight, you're replacing it with muscle.

Being healthy is my main goal. I'm getting OKer with my body... trying to get to the place you're talking about. Great thoughts! Thanks for sharing!

Your words express what I'm feeling to a T. And I grew up in Michigan. We sound pretty parallel from Michigan to high weight to where we are. Congrats on your weight loss, on your self-reflection, and on keeping it off - because with awareness you will succeed! Sandi

Thanks for posting! Very interesting... and disturbing.

The scale can be evil sometimes. When the scale hit the pause button for me, I measured and was still moving things around in the right way. You've got to remember, muscle weighs more than fat. The other thing you need to think about - is some people need more calories to run their body than others. Last night's little…

That's the right answer! Does he have a brother? ;)

I'm really similar to you. I started around 225 and have just gotten below 170. I am ecstatic about losing that weight! I'm also still somewhat overweight, obviously, but healthier than ever and excited about exercise. If I never get below where I am now, I'm still so much better off than I was over 50 lbs ago. The…
