My amazing boyfriend (and one of my closest friends for 4 years) said the following just a few minutes ago:

Just had to share how AWESOME he is. :)

    Yes, but he's like 15! :laugh: He's a good kid though, definitely a ladies' man. Billy is the hopeless romantic type and I've been his #1 girl for years. :love:

    Haha, I told him he's one of a kind, but he thinks there's gotta be some more out there. :) He and I have the same best friend. We are 'the triad'.

    Because I am one, but I'm slowly giving up hope. My daughter has now had two mother's...both gone completely out of her life. My two boys mother lives 800 miles away, because she can't seem to keep herself from lying to me, about me, about herself...lying period. Eventually she couldn't face herself anymore and bam, gone. Our first custody hearing is Tuesday.

    Now, is part of this my choice in women? Most certainly. Thing is, there was nothing outwardly wrong with either of them, and for a good long time...both seemed completely normal. THAT is the terrifying part. What's the next one going to be like? When will she change?

    Anyhow though...I didn't want to rain on this awesome thread. To songbyrdsweet...keep him close and take really good care of him. He's one of a dying breed hun.

    Gheesh, i take that back chris i just read your post & can imagine how you feel. But you must keep a positive attitude because something will come for you when the time is due. If i carried an attitude for all the crap i have been threw i would be a man hater, but i know when the time is right it will happen. But truly sorry u have to go threw all of that.

    Oh I have no plans to let him go! This long distance stuff is hard (he's in Missouri, I'm in Virginia) but when we visit each other, everything is ridiculously wonderful. He's coming back in mid/late-November once he's done with the AF. And I get to see him in 3 weeks when we go to the beach! We are both counting down the days. :)

    Thats so awesome. How long have you been together? I love seeing when people find true happiness. I started dating my boyfriend 6 years ago and he's a very guarded army vet. So when i started my diet and he said as long as I was me no matter what I looked liked he'd take a bullet for me. I think thats what made me fall in love with him.
