5'4 here and 143- I am pretty much a solid size 10 US. My problem area is my tummy- if it were proportional, I think I might be closer to an 8.
-
I also keep mine open for accountability. Anyone can add me. It has worked for me. 159 lbs lost in total. HW: 302, CW: 143 and 5'4.

I am there with you! On day 3 of the Whole30. Add me if you like!

I think we sorely underestimate the amount of social morons in the world. I will never understand why anyone thinks it is ever appropriate to ask that question....

Hey there, I had sleeve surgery a little over a year ago and made goal just recently. I lost a total of 158 lbs from my highest weight (about 2 years). HW: 302, SW: 272 CW: 144. I think the biggest reason behind my success is using MFP EVERYDAY and logging everything. I also have a food scale and use it all the time. I…

You look amazing!

158 altogether...about 106 since MFP. Edited to add that I'm not sure if I'm done losing since I'm at the top of my healthy weight range...and I am starting the Whole30 in a few days....
-
Do you know my mother-in-law? This is her to a "T"!
-
Search for it under the groups tab in the community section of MFP. Also, there are forums on the "it Starts With Food" website that might be able to address the zero noodles thing, honestly, I think it's a no-go.

I didn't think the flex tracked stairs. The new one out, the Force does. I have a flex and as far as I know it just tracks walking steps/other activity.

I'm starting mine in January for the 1st time- I've done quite a bit of reading and research. I don't think those fake noodles are allowed on the Whole30, but might be fine for Paleo after the Whole30. Whole30 is very strict on the "no paleofying" of foods that are non-paleo, like noodles, breads, pancakes, etc. Good luck-…

Good point! I hadn't considered that. Thanks!
-
I was waiting for this one- thanks!!!!!

I weighed yesterday morning and this morning, and I'm up about a pound over 2 days- and I'm happy. Could have been so much worse- a pound is NOTHING. LOL Gone in a flash.
-
LOL You have my sympathy. I am also 5'4 and 145. People are telling me to stop! I might, I feel pretty good at this weight, but maybe I won't... I have lost 155 lbs in total, so it's definitely that their perspective is skewed, not to mention it's already skewed because the majority of other people are overweight.

I say don't worry about it- I am the same way. But I am completely insane- I don't like fish cooked but LOVE sushi. I like tuna with mayo. I have tried to like fish, but I haven't found any I can stomach. I have tried swordfish and like it a lot, but the mercury content is very high, so... Or just keep trying different…

It's just 3 of us- Hubs, the Kid and me- tonight I'm making a beef brisket, rice a roni, and salad. We will probably have a stay at home movie night, the Kid will pick out one present to open before bed, we will put out cookies and milk for Santa, the Kid will go to bed and Hubs and I will stuff stockings...no pun…

I had to lose weight in order to realize I wasn't "big boned" at all. Now that I'm at a healthy weight, I realize I am a medium frame. At between 5'4 and 5'5, it makes sense.

I freaking love The Onion. But I am one of those crazy people with a totally twisted sense of humor....so...ya know....

I am planning on doing this starting around the 2nd week in Jan. I am hoping to sort of detox after the holidays and in the process become more "food aware". I am looking forward to it. Waiting until Jan will allow me to have a hopefully uninterrupted 30 days. I cannot guarantee this before Jan.1. LOL
-
Love it! Congrats!!!!

Christmas eve I'm roasting a beef brisket- I will be having sweet potatoes and peas with it- hubby and child will probably have rice pilaf and green beans. Christmas Day hubby is roasting a turkey- all the trimmings. I will probably eat like I did on TG- turkey, gravy, veggies, and some banana bread- a little slice of…

I use the Rundouble C25k app and I really like it. The only thing I don't like is that won't sync with MFP unless you have the GPS enabled, and I don't use the GPS on the treadmill. I do wear my fitbit, which then syncs with MFP, so I'm somewhat covered. Good luck- you will get addicted. C25k is the gateway drug...LOL
-
I have never been asked this and I have been fat/obese for the majority of my life. Anyone who asks this of ANYONE is a social moron and deserves to be publicly humiliated...JMHO.
-
When I figure it out I will let you know. I have eaten a number of "broken" sugar cookies in the last week or so....so yeah.

Use to be- now he's like 35 lbs heavier than me (I lost weight, he didn't gain). But I know what it's like. That was one of my milestones- weighing less than him! LOL You can do it!!!!
