I am 52 and have lost 12 pounds although I have been at a stand still for the last few weeks. Ugh. It isn't easy. I have changed a lot of bad habits, increased my exercise, and I am trying to be more successful with portion controls.. I am happy to support anyone who needs some cheering on! Feel free to add me.

During the course of the afternoon, I popped 6 chocolate truffles in my mouth. Then I wondered how many calories were in each one, so I flipped the package over and was stunned to realize I ate 1200 calories just as a snack. Chips and salsa. I can't have just a couple. If I a buy a bag I eat the entire bag. If I order them in a restaurant, I eat them all. RIDICULOUS lack of control!

Thanks. I dropped 11 pounds and now I am at a stand still... I think for me I grab a few of this and that and don't log it. I don't drink enough water. It has been 50 days and I have gotten sloppy. I need to get back to discipline. I appreciate you sharing! Thanks!

I have a sweet tooth as well. I sometimes buy Nips (candy) and one piece is 60 calories. Also, a cup of tea will help with the cravings. I sometimes pop a couple raspberries and blueberries to help. My strongest sugar craving is right after I eat dinner. RIDICULOUS because I am not even hungry!

Thanks for the link for skinnytaste.com from the last gal. That looks amazing!!!!! I have found that if I make a large quantity of something healthy it can stretch a few meals. I think in the long run it is cheaper. I rarely buy packaged processed foods which are usually more pricey and not healthy. Good luck!
