  • I used to LOVE summer but this summer the humidity and high barometric pressures have really gotten to me - I think between me Cymbalta and menopausal hot flashes it doesn't help either. I VERY MUCH DISLIKE WINTER.

  • Awesome weight loss.
  • I have less migraines since I gave up artificial sweeteners. I now use Stevia in my coffee and real sugar in my tea. No more diet sodas or sugar free products either. It has made dieting a challenge though. I do feel better since the change.
  • So far I have only been prescribed skelaxin to take at nights. I am seriously thinking about asking for something else though. I have days that I am in pain all day then others where the pains come and go, usually mild. Not sure if I want to try OTC / herbals or what? Any suggestions?
  • I find that I can walk, ride a recumbent bike and swim (if the water is REALLY warm - which is rare); that's all I have found that does not hurt. Any others suggestions would be helpful. What types of other exercises do you all try?
  • I have a tendency to have flare ups with rainy days high humidity in the heat of summer. I am so dreading this coming winter as I cannot stand the cold.
  • I am fairly new with my official diagnosis; but I have been prescribed skelaxin to help me sleep at night. It does work, however I am finding recently I am having more pain during the day and am thinking of asking for something more. I do try ibuprofen which sometimes helps. My job entails a lot of driving during the day…
  • Finally got to make these; still in the oven but my hisband, son and grand-daughter were fighting over licking the bowl if thats any sign of how good they are I may not get one when they come out of the oven. I have to forego the whipped topping (allergic). Can hardly wait.
  • This sounds yummy - I bet you could switch choc. chips with butterscotch ones.
  • Try to snag a walk during your lunch breaks and qhen to get to work park really far away from the door; take the stairs up & down. I snag every bit that I can but some of this cannot be logged as such but I know that I'm making a point of moving a bit more. Good luck.
  • I pack pre-measured crackers (ususally flavored wheat thins) and laughing cow cheese wedges. I also like to quarter apples and pre-pre oranges so that they are handy and ready when I want them. I like single serve tuna as well. My cheat sweet is 6 midgie tootsie rolls per 12 hr. shift.
  • These sound DELISH.... now I want a cupcake.
  • I try to be honest about every BLT (bite, lick, taste); sometimes I find it challenging especially when I eat a meal out and cannot find it on the foods list. I have to try to guesstimate at it.
  • RN on PCU/ICU fulltime nights 7p-7a. Been in nights for only 4 months I'm finding VERY hard t adjust to the change. Any suggestions?
  • I'm new to the night shifts I work PCU/ICU 12 hr nights. Been on nights since the end of November and I'm must now getting to where I sleep 6hr stretches when I work. I find it challenging on my nights off; and my eating seems to be worse on the nights/days I do not go to work. I have been a LPN for 20yrs but recently…

  • It's been several years for me but when my son was little he had asthma ( I did not smoke while pregnant); I made the decision to not smoke inside my house or vehicles. It was some really cold, wet smoke breaks that finally got to me before I discovered it just wasnt worth being out in the cold wet air for. That and they…
