  • GOOD JOB...CAN'T WAIT TILL I CAN SEE A DIFFERENCE :) I HAVE LOST 12 POUNDS, AND MY CO-WORKER THAT I WALK WITH NOW DID COMMENT THAT MY THIGHS LOOK FIRMER--SHE HAD TO ADD " NOT THAT I CHECK OUT YOUR BODY OR ANYTHING, BUT I DID NOTICE THE THIGHS, GOOD WORK" HAHAHA KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK :)
  • I sold most of mine at my yard sale, then gave the rest to women's shelters...didn't have too many yet but that included stuff I just wasn't wearing anymore, so hopefully in the next few months I will have more for them....
  • Awesome! guess I can almost say that, went from couch to walking hahaha
  • Ahh, now it makes sense, thanks. However I myself most likely will not be any marathons, I don't like running, and even if I did lose enough weight I'm not sure my bones would hold up, edema in the left leg and arthritis in the right knee. But I do manage to walk 50-70 mins a day
  • That is what we are here for, each other. I too just joined and love communicating with my new friends who are in the same boat. Glad to welcome you aboard. Friend request sent.
  • I felt that way over the weekend, but like the others said, you and only you can do it. Don't beat yourself up, just make tomorrow a brand new start....good luck :flowerforyou:
  • Welcome, you are going to enjoy this site, it is helpful, supportive, and easy to use. The friends you make are wonderful. It is what keeps me going, and I am fairly new too. We are all on the same journey, here is where we share ideas, progress, setbacks, encouragment, and support. Make friends, keep a food and exercise…

  • First congrats on the no smoking, I just quit 28 days ago. Food all of a sudden was my best friend. I too have a terrible sweet tooth which hurts me weight wise and also being a diabetic. I have turned to fruit, trail mix, and frozen yogart or sugarfree ice cream. I measure my portions otherwise I could eat a whole lot…
