I use Greek Yogurt to make Tzatziki. Which for those that aren't familiar it's the creamy cucumber/dill sauce that you get on a traditional Gyro. Start with 1 pint Greek-style yogurt, 2 cloves garlic, 1/2 medium cucumber, 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar, and 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil. dill or mint can also be…

I know how you feel, I've gone from 270 to 231 since the end of June last year. I'm about half way to my goal weight of 190 lbs. My old jeans look like something out of a hip-hop video and now my sole remaining pair of old "skinny jeans" are starting to get loose. My old XXXL shirts make me look like a kid trying on dad's…

I'm currently using my iPhone but am contemplating buying either an ipod shuffle or nano to wear when I go out for my daily exercise. We tend to get a lot of rain in Florida, not to mention the high humidity tends to make me sweat a lot. I would rather get a $50 shuffle or a $150 nano wet than my iPhone.

I use the Wii fit plus when I can't get outside to exercise and on my days off of work when I can't climb my usual 30 flights of stairs per day. I just bought a 4" riser kit to put under the balance board and do "free step" for 30 minutes and two 10 minute sessions of rhythm boxing and rhythm kung-fu.

I started week one day one today and plan on running Mon-Wed-Fri. I'm hoping to get back into the running shape I was in when I left the Army 20 years ago when I could run 5 miles (8k) without hardly breaking a sweat.
