  • Surprisingly, for me, blueberries seem to be the magic key for me. I eat 2 cups of fresh blueberries and I do AMAZING!!! The first time I gave blueberries a go, I ran over 7miles, pushing 65lb stroller and kept with a 10min pace which I felt was pretty dang good with going up and down hills at a lake near our house. I…

  • Ok haha I'm confused...What exactly is your question? Is it how do you get in more cals, not eat so much, not to feel so full?? I'm just confused on what the question is?
  • You always loose like this in the beginning and its typically water weight. I wouldn't worry. You might have to adjust later, but I don't think you need now as it hasn't even been a week.
  • Im a chick and I don't understand chicks!! I don't know why size matters anyways? Weird topic?? I suppose to some its important??
  • I'm with you!!! I as dropping the "lbs" like crazy and these last 5-10lb are the HARDEST!! ugh!!! My body is apparently very comfortable between 150-155!!! pain in the *kitten* haha
  • I'm very similar! 5'6" Very wide shoulders (ppl would tease I'm a linebacker -- use to bother me, but not anymore) Just sort of "stocky" kind of gal SW: 178 (when I started this) -- highest maybe 198-195? CW: 151 Goal: 150 --- if I'm less later, then great! I've really started to just ensure that I'm eating good…

  • I literally do this everyday!!! Sometimes I don't log EVERY meal beforehand, but it helps me see what I'm going to consume beforehand and make changes where needed. Sometimes I can say, do I really need 2T of peanut butter, or is 1T enough? I like doing this, I see not harm in all, and have only see good things come from…
  • I don't know how anyone would "plan" a 5000 calorie day??? I mean, how do you KNOW you're going to eat that much? haha I'm not saying it'd be hard, wrong, or etc ... I just don't if I've ever INTENTIONALY ate that much haha Hmmmm -- I'm sure it'd involve lots of naughty, greasy, sweet, rich food though!!! I'd looooove some…
  • Because you will need to convert in the future -- look for online measurement converters -- there are a lot out there to use :)
  • I don't know how to upload photos on here, but I eat around 1600-1900 cals a day. I've lost pretty steadily and I haven't had to "kill myself" doing it. I do try to eat as much UNPROCESSED foods as possible and I've seen a huge change. I don't even have to workout as much. Think about it, if you are eating awesome and not…
  • By telling them that you ran farther, lifted more, worked out for longer, ate less, ate better ... you know, the whole "that's so great you did that buuuuut" and then you say you did better. hahaha so annoying!
  • NBC just said 2 dead and 23 injured -- so sickening!!! :( I'm sure the injuries at least will be rising over the next few hours. Near the finish line no less. So wrong on so many levels!!!! Thank the Lord the hospitals are so close. Looks like most were family members/friends/on-lookers, etc. My heart hurts for all of…

  • Drinking that much soda because you don't like water is NOT good and you will NOT see the results you want sadly. Sometimes drinking water is just hard but your body NEEDS it and your kidneys will thank you. Hell, your whole body will! If you're really wanting to change, you'll find a while to drink water. A lot of the…
  • I'm with them, the HRM is going to be more accurate. 100% accurate? probably not, but as you get in better shape, so does your heart. Meaning, fortunately & unfortunately, you burn LESS calories than you might have previously or if you in not as good of shape. I've definitely experienced this. You could, which some do, add…
  • I use to drink protein powder, sometimes still do, but you get lots of protein from even 1/2c greek yogurt (12grams!) and that doesn't include any milk or soy you use!!! So I nixed the protein powder bc well, it ruins it haha If you peel and freeze your bananas before using, they make smoothies so good! Same way with…
  • I thought about that one but I've never used one and I'm cheap haha I ended up getting the Omron Strapless Heart Rate Monitor on Amazon for like $30. Im not like some, I can't do a chest strap, and this one actually works well. I hate that it doesn't automatically read my heart rate, you have to stop and take it (which…
  • I do sometimes. If I'm just casually picking up, etc ... then no ... but I've put my HRM on and I've zipped through the house non-stop for 45-60mins and LITERALY running room to room cleaning, etc and have burned greater 200 cals. I mean, I was literally sweating!! You might laugh but when I clean like that, I call it…
  • love it SO MANY WAYS!! Made a spicy roasted bell pepper, tomato, carrot soup yesterday in the vitamixer -- added 1/2 of an avocado and it made it MEGA creamy and delicious!!! Its also made into a pesto and over noodles or even over chicken. I love putting them in smoothies to bc you can't taste them (all though I love the…
