  • I think everyone gets into a funk at some point in their journey. I've been at this 5 months now and just hit my funk over this past week/weekend. Up until then logging has not bothered me. In fact, I look forward to logging in the monring and seeing what kind of day everyone had etc. I esp. like logging when I have a…
  • I'd like to lose 8 pounds during the month of June. I have been slacking (just returned from vacation) and I'm trying to get back on track. To help lose those pounds, I need to walk (or exercise) at least 3 days a week.
  • Good for you! Congrats on your weight loss.
  • I wish I could come up with a more consistent exercise routine. I enjoy walking and now that the weather is nicer I'm hoping I'll be inspired to walk 3 days a week at a minimum.
  • Congrats on your progress so far. Keep up the good work!

  • Last year when we went to Busch Gardens I tried to ride Verbolten, their newest coaster, but the locking mechanism would not go in far enough to lock......I was mortified and had to get off the ride. This year, I got to ride! That moment last year (together with the number that was on the scale at the doctor's office right…
  • congrats......you have been working hard and it shows. keep up the good work
  • Good for you. I think your goals are definitely realistic - in fact, we have very similar goals. I'm also 5 7 and I guess my goal is around the same as yours and once I get there I can re-evaluate. My mini goal is to hit 250. I think it's great to have some mini goals thrown in the mix to give us something to strive for.…
  • You look great....keep up the good work!
  • Welcome!

  • way to go Julie
  • One person at work asked if I had lost weight and another told me how much different my face looked and that I must be losing weight. When you look at yourself in the mirror everyday and when the scale is not moving, you tend to think nothings happening or you just don't notice the change. That one comment motivated me to…
  • I work at a major food company so there is always some type of food around. Work can definitely be challenging for sure. There's always someone offering food, telling you there is food in the pantry, bringing cookies back from meetings. It's funny I have a candy dish on my desk and lots of people stop by for candy. When…
  • Congrats on your weight loss.....your story definitely inspires...
  • congrats on your weight loss....and I wish you continued success as you move forward.....way to go
  • I started weighing once a week. Then I decided twice a week was good and then I started every other day and then went to every day. There are days I skip or just don't feel like it but I generally hop on the scale just to see where I come in. I don't log gains and sometimes I'll wait until I see a number twice before…
  • What's going well: I guess overall my "lifestyle change" is going well. I've lost about 20 pounds since joining MFP (about 10 prior to that) and my clothes are starting to feel a little loose. What's not going well: I'm probably not exercising as much as I should be or as much as I can. I'm definitely more active than I've…
  • Welcome to all the new ladies in the group. Having over 100 pounds to lose can seem daunting but set smaller goals for yourself and make some new friends....you will probably be here for awhile!
  • congratulations on your weight loss.....and for your overall healing and the belief in yourself that you do deserve happiness.....and for showering that happiness on a child who otherwise would not have such a bright future
  • Looking good ladies. Way to go.
  • congrats, awesome accomplishment.

  • Congratulations, what an accomplishment. I can't wait til the day when I can post that I've hit that mark too. But I haven't put in all the work you have just yet so I know I need to be patient and my day will come. My hubby said he'll take me to a B&B for the weekend when I hit 50 pounds so I have something to look…
  • You should be proud of what you've accomplished so far. No doubt you will hit your ultimate goal. Great job!
  • Good for you...you may experience ups and downs on your journey (I think everyone does) but if you have a great attitude going in, you will do fine.

  • Good for you Julie...you've worked hard for that!
  • Congrats. Well done....You look fabulous
  • Pounds lost so far: 14 (although I lost 10 before joining MFP) Goal Weight (GW) between 159 and 179 (although if I'm comfortable at a higher or lower weight I'll adjust accordingly) What are your successes with food? I plan my dinners ahead of time and try to plan the rest of the day after that - I'm also staying within my…
  • be proud of yourself for all you have accomplished already.....
