  • Added you! :) Hope you achieve your goals in 2014! :)
  • Only way I'd meet up with an ex is if I were single myself and so was the other person. or if their partner wants to join along they absolutely can. Just my personal experience is when my ex and I had a fight one time, we didn't break up but he took his ex out to dinner and she paid for him and they talked. It's the fact…
  • With my experience, and I did this last year for 3 almost 4 months, DO NOT GO TO 1200 and 1300 is cutting it close unless you have a lot to lose. It's okay to do that to jump start I suppose, but when I first started--hadn't exercised a day in my life really--I was at 1200 calories a day, and then started drinking a…
  • I feel loved! :/
  • Girl, all you gotta do is drink TONS of water. That water weight will go away and stay away as long as you watch your sodium and drink all day. You're supposed to drink half your body weight in oz. I should drink 115.5oz a day from where I stand now......THAT IS A LOT OF WATER....and I hate water. BUT WE CAN DO IT! It's…
  • I'm starting again as well! I started January 10 2012 and stopped mid April when my friend lost her baby. It was a difficult time for everybody and after that I just gave up trying. But, I'm ready to start this again and keep with it. I had to adapt to my brother moving back in and so my eating habits went out the window…
  • Well, It's rough, I'll tell you that. But it DOES get easier. You're gonna be hungry in the beginning but then you're gonna feel full because your body actually FEELS REAL HUNGER. I'm in a rut, but I know what I did in the beginning worked for me real well. I lost 31lbs from January-April. Not bad, it's a moderate loss.…
  • I don't go by MFP. Go in and change your goals manually to your TDEE and go by it. That's if you get all your calculations right in how active/inactive you are. I started losing A LOT when I went by my TDEE and manually changed my goals.
  • I'm not a fan of the cheap kind that's oily and icky. I love the Skippy Natural peanut butter! It's so great. It tastes awesome with vanilla protein powder and half of a banana. I almost want to make one right now. lol.
  • 1200 is the bare minimum. You'll survive on it, but barely. You'll get sick and dizzy. I did. When I started, I lived by that 1200 and I was getting so sick. Like flu symptoms kind of sick. Then when I started eating more calories, I started LOSING more weight. Please do your TDEE and go from there. I swear by it. After…
  • Feel free to add me first off. I'm in the same boat. Well, sort of. I have been in the 200's since high school. It IS depressing and I can't tell you how many times since January 10, 2013 I have pulled at my fat calling myself names and getting so upset and angry with myself that I just pray to God I just wake up one day…
  • I can't speak for the diet soda, but as for regular clog your arteries soda, it gets easier. My problem wasn't soda though, it was sweet tea. I lost 15lbs the first month after giving up soda/sweet tea. Then I lost another 16lbs after changing what I ate and when I ate it. I lost my way on this journey (yatta yatta yatta…
  • For people like me, who have a hard time meeting their calorie goal for the day, It really helps a lot. It's not just about people who want to get lean. I drink it for calorie and of course, protein goals. I never meet my goal...even with a shake, but a shake helps a lot. I have to watch my sugar, so I tend to only drink…
  • I normally drink a protein shake every day, but recently ran out. Lol. But the more protein the better. Protein curbs hunger and helps build muscle and helps muscle recovery after working out. So the more the merrier in my opinion.
  • Kamode, moist, tinkle...my list goes on haha
  • Hmm...I'm not sure about Peanut butter. I'm not a huge fan, but I needed to find something with some good protein in it so I put a tablespoon in my protein shake along with a banana. I use the Peter Pan reduced fat Creamy. It tastes great!
  • Shoot, if my grandmother was still in her right mind, she would have a switch waiting for me when I got home. lol. And I'm 24! lol. But kids these days are different with their picking. It's become more brutal. I was always teased for walking different growing up, but now if I were still in school age, I can be positive I…
  • If you're fat, that must make me a hippo. Kids are cruel and they do hurt even though we know it's just a kid that lacks correct discipline. But brush it off. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL and I LOVE YOUR YOUR CURVES!
  • You know those Totinos(?) pizzas you can get its meant for 2-3 people? Yeah, I used to eat those all the time by myself. It would be nothing for me to hock one down. I didn't realize how bad it was because I never paid attention to the nutrition facts until I committed myself to changing my lifestyle. Also, watching sodium…
  • Although I don't eat very many bananas, I can say that they are good for you. Your carbs fuel your body. I'm 228lbs now. Started out at 246, and I can tell you that eating 1200 cals(because MFP said to do it.) I was starving myself and a didn't lose any the first week or two and I found this…
  • Well, most everything is processed unless you make it from scratch. BUT, the lean cuisine works for some people. I wouldn't eat them every day or even a few times a week even. I eat one maybe once every other week when I really don't feel like cooking. Most of the time it's fish, veggie stuff, and egg whites. lol. I also…
  • PEOPLE! There is a HUGE, VERY HUGE difference in natural sugar and processed sugar. It's hard to tell the difference between the two but if you're eating any kind of natural sugar, like in fruits and veggies, DO NOT WORRY. Because fruit is watery and is easily broken down. The sugar from that fruit comes out in sweat and…
  • I've been diagnosed with PCOS for about 2 years. It has been very difficult to lose the weight, but I was on Metformin when I was first diagnosed and lost some weight, but went off it when I got pregnant and just yesterday I went back on it. So I'm hoping it helps me lose weight this time around because my glucose levels…
  • Well, you could maybe put 1 1/2-2 scoops in instead of just one. I don't have a problem with the cals, seeing as I have problem reaching my calorie goal. But the SUGAR is my problem. I always go over sugar, but for this I can see myself cheating for later down the road.
  • I've done that, and then I stop eating/drinking whatever it is, and just get back on track. YOU CAN DO THIS. I know you can! You just have to have the will to get it done. Think of the body/feeling at the end of the tunnel. There's no light, just a stunning image of yourself how you want to be. Let that be your drive to…
  • Don't let it be a diet, make it a lifestyle change! A diet is a short fix and never sticks, but a lifestyle change is permanent. :)
  • I have a hard enough time eating the ones I have set right now! I have to keep watch on my sugar so it makes it difficult to get it close without going extremely over sugar and sodium. I don't eat mine back, and I might would if I felt hungry but that rarely happens unless I'm busy and away from home. I DO NOT AND WILL NOT…
  • If you're running and doing anything strength, you're going to gain muscle mass and lose body FAT. Muscle is more lean and takes up less space. But you said you're not losing either, I would say like I have MANY MANY TIMES before DO YOUR TDEE. The profile wizard works for some people, but not everyone. Follow this link on…
  • I have PCOS, IBS, and Acid Reflux so I know how hard it is to stay away from things. I found that cutting back on everything really helped. I used to get horrible stomach pains that would knock me to my knees, but ever since I started eating healthier, it's been so much better. CUT OUT THE SPICY FOOD. That has helped me…
  • Just follow the instructions on the post. He just wrote a lot to explain how it all works and affects your body. I was confused at first as well, and then it all came together. You gotta eat more to burn more basically.
