If you are eating 1200 and you burn 2300 then you should already be losing about 2 pounds a week as you are creating a 7700 calorie deficit.

You need a deficit of 3500 for a pound, 7000 for two pounds

Is the 2300 your maintenance rate? If so, multiply that by 7, subtract 3500 ( number of calories needed to lose one pound per week), then divide by 7. You should get 1800 and that is the number of calories you need to consume per day to lose 1 pound a week. If you work out, you can eat more calories.
