I was diagnosed this past May. My A1C was at 12 ... Since then I have lost 50 pounds and brought my A1C down to 7.2 and working on getting it to at least 6.5. I lost the initial weight just by counting the carb intake for the diabetes but the weight loss has slowed WAAYYY down. So I am here to try and manage calories…
