I'm currently on 1598 days. It is infuriating that the program keeps resetting for no apparent reason like it has this morning. I have no newsfeed at all and it keeps on asking to accept cookies, I haven't logged out for years. 🤷♂️

I've managed 1412 consecutive days logging in, although, I've been here since 2011.😊

I discovered this morning that the weight report on the desktop version has changed and is visually useless. The app on my phone seems to be unaffected.

1219 days. I've been here since 2011. Although, I no longer count calories. I do daily fasting instead. I still log all food for the nutrition info. I also log my weight daily. 😊

***Update*** Last night I reached 506 miles walking since March and have lost 24lbs, lowest weight since March 2018. My ultimate goal is to lose at least another 50lbs to get me below the BMI 'overweight' category. So, that means I need to walk at least another 1,000 miles lol. Oh well, my trainers will be worn out by then…

Calories can be deceiving depending on which measurement you want to believe. Your height, weight, gender & age can affect how calories are counted. I have MyFitnessPal connected directly to the Health App in my iPhone, so, if I change my weight in MFP, it is reflected in the iPhone/Apple Watch. I record my walks/runs on…

Thanks. That was the plan, I tried jogging 3 miles a few weeks ago and I hit a heart rate of 181bpm!!! ...and I'm 69 in a few weeks! That made me decide to hold back a bit longer and lose some more weight. Prior to my medical issues, the previous few years I was running 100-150 miles per month. So, for now, I shall…

I'm from Geordieland (or North East England for any foreigners 😂).

After 23 years of smoking I got a bit of a scare one day while sitting at the computer songwriting. My left arm went completely numb and I was light headed and dizzy for only about 30 seconds. The reason for the scare? I lost my father due to a heart attack at 37 years old, he was buried on my 12th birthday. His father (my…

I always weight with nothing on. It's more consistent. I always weigh myself after a run, however, I know it's not a true weight but fun to see myself lighter. For the purposes of MFP I weigh myself on a morning straight out of bed.

There's always gonna be nay sayers, usually people who haven't tried them. They improve your running form to the way it should be. The human body was designed to use the foot, ankle and knees as a shock absorbing spring regardless of what age you live to. It's blatantly obvious to most people. Vibram Five Fingers are…

Just bought a pair yesterday and ran 3 miles yesterday in them. Wore them for the rest of the day and DJing for 4 hours last night. Was out running 3.5 miles today with them and wore them around the house since. Loving them, have ran for 20 years and think the transition will be shorter than for most people. Probably going…

How funny, I've just bought my first brutal 2 seater sports car a week ago lol. Always had performance cars, but this thing is fierce. BMW Z3 2.2i, seriously vicious in the wet, God help me when the winter comes lol!!!

Believe it or not, when I was at school, I wanted to be a long distance runner :-) No, really!!! Here I am years later running 150 miles per month lol............. for fun!!!

Oh, just a couple of little tips for those that use these apps with any Smartphone; ........at least once per week remove the phones battery for 10-20 seconds then replace. This "resets" or "re-boots" the software so that the phone will link up with the satellites much better. They all get sluggish over time and take…

I have tried a few apps this year. I started with Endomondo and even paid for the Pro version. I found it to be very solid and I do like the website display, monthly total, etc. Last year I had used Tracker that was on my Cybershot phone but had nowhere to display the results. I was able to import 50 runs from the…
