I love my heart rate monitor! It's great to have a better idea of how many calories you are truly burning. I have the polar FT60- which is one of the high end ones. My friend had the FT7 which is less high tech and i think only really counts calories but is much cheaper. Check out the polar website -they describe all of…

I use "bump" on posts that i find interesting or has good information and it kind of "bookmarks" it for me. If you ever reply to a post it will be in your "my topics" tab. So when i find a recipe i really like and i dont have time to copy it down, i just write "bump" as a reply and i can go back to it on "my topics" later…

I used MFP for 6 months and did VERY well. Got down to within 5 lbs of my goal weight. I stopped using MFP because i thought i was good to go having lost most of it...within 1 year i had gained it all back. When i use MFP it makes me accountable to something on how much i eat and i pay more attention to my snacking habits.…

i am in the same boat. i did a week of level one. level two definitely has harder cardio sessions, but they are still only 2 mins long. I still include my own cardio sessions a few days a week because she just cant get enough in for her 20 min workout.

I am currently doing the 30ds on about day 13. It does a pretty good job of toning. I also am doing her 6week 6 pack video every other day. P90x put me off purely becuase of price and time. I love the 30 ds video---cheap and all you need it a set of weights and some space to move around. I still do lots of walking and…

Use one scale and ONE SCALE ONLY! I used to weigh myself at the gym and at home and it became very discouraging. Now i ONLY use my home scale.

I tend to use the lower calorie burn because i figure that it cant hurt to under-estimate !
