I would concentrate on body fat % and reducing this. Not losing muscle mass. Eat well, and exercise should achieve this. Callipers are a good way to measure your body fat. Also take pictures of yourself. Good luck!

I don't think you could have said it any better. I need to do this - The best way to break a bad habit is to replace it with a good one. Find alternative activities to distract yourself and treats that you can fit into your calorie goals Thank you x

OMG this thread is amazing! Well done everyone! You have all done so well. Yes to lose weight its all about your diet - Fitness and exercise does make you feel so good, but to get the lbs to go down on the scales, its eating less!!! Well done guys xx

You weigh too much, that's why he has done it. He is trying to help you. You should only weigh once a week anyway, your weight fluctuates so much, you would drive yourself mad constantly jumping on there. Give yourself a break from the scales, then say to him your weigh once a week. Eating healthy, and exercise is healthy…

I notice when I gain a few lbs my boobs are bigger!!! When I lose weight I can tell as they have less volume.

For a man your surely you are not eating enough? Whats your bmr? tdee? height? current weight etc? Don't you need to eat back exercise calories? Or half?

I can understand where your coming from. I would just be honest & say your trying to eat healthy. Just eat smaller portions, cut out the desserts, bread baskets etc. You can still have a lovely time. You don't need to eat everything they give you or order everything in site. Smaller portions, and lower carbs will be fine.…

Have you worked out your bmr & tdee again after your weight loss? You need to eat more. Eating 1200 calories + exercise is not good. Food is fuel! Sounds like people deleted you as your probably over exercising, under eating?? Am I right?????? Or wrong???????????

Vodka/Malibu with lots of ice and diet coke & a slice of lime - That's how I like mine anyway!! I cant do barcardi or gin & tonic........YUCK! I prefer sweet drinks - I also love Baileys with lots of ice... But wow the calories!!!!!!!!!

If the calculators say you can eat 2,200 calories to lose weight - Why only eat 1700 calories. Eat the full 2,200 calories - I don't get it?? Am I being thick here???

The only things I can think of is left over dinners, bring them in and heat them up. Chicken/ salmon + veg in a Tupperware, chilli's, jacket potato... Mmm I love jackets in the winter with chilli or baked beans on top!! Stews are yummy - Can make a pot and bring some in, freeze the rest I love all the covent garden soups…

Its water weight!!! You can bloat from anything - Too much fibre in your diet, dairy, gluten/wheat, too much salt etc. For you to help with the bloating I would drink lots and lots of water Green tea & peppermint tea are great for this too!! Search bloating herbal teas...!! Probiotics are good too

I have stocked up on Nakd bars - There lovely! So I have them in my bedroom if I am peckish!!! You should try them? Apple pie is my fav! But normally I crave chocolate, so I always pop out to the kitchen ... Oppps!!!!! Maybe our sugar levels are low at this time? Or maybe I am just naughty :wink:
