I never log my binge days but there are so many times when I wished I did (in fact, every time!). Like, if I ended up losing that week I could look back and say "Ooh, actually I wasn't as bad as I thought day (weekend!)"

Sending you a friend request now...! I love chocolate too, and the best thing is when you calorie count you can still have it occasionally! :)

Definitely do more cardio! I find the more exercise I do, the less inclined I am to binge on bad foods!
-
I always use cooked cals... Had this conversation with somebody once but we couldn't work it out!

Sorry, I've not read anyone else's comments yet...just wanted to say what my trainer does. As well as one hour's training per week, she will write a food plan (if wanted), check nutrition every day (I send her my food diary daily), write a home plan and review it every few weeks. I don't think you're needy at all. I think…

I think that's awful! I would NEVER defriend someone because of their calorie intake being either low or high! We're all here to make friends and help each other along surely??!! And if that means trying to help someone raise their calorie intake then that's what we should be doing! And help them to understand why it's…

Hi, I'm Angela from Reading, UK, with about 100 lbs to lose. This is my 3rd week of calorie counting (although I've been on MFP for some time). Feeling really positive at the moment. Would love to collect as many friends as possible to help each other along our journey

Well, I really don't know, but I would guess at 20 cals for the cream, 20 for each side of biscuit...but that would really only be a complete guess! So say 40 cals per biscuit, 45 to be on the safer side. Still a lot of cals I wouldn't wanna waste on biscuits though!

I found out something interesting about my emotional eating the other day...I didn't realise I was doing it! Every day at work, I have a "treat" snack about 10am. Anyway, it was on my desk (it was Walkers French Fries for 79 cals), and it was only about 09.15, somebody asked me to do something and annoyed me with their…

If it was me, I would make sure I made wise, low calorie choices for the rest of the day and not worry too much about going over my calorie allowance. If you're on 1500 cals a day, and have 300 left, even if you add another 300 and give yourself 600 for the rest of the day, you still won't break the calorie bank, because…

Hiya! I'm in week one (again!). I'm an emotional eater too. My first goal is to lose 35 lbs by Easter (12 weeks) and I lost 3 in my first week this week so I'm on track! :) I'll send you a friend request.

Wow! Absolutely fantastic! You're pics have really spurred me on! Thanks!

Hiya, I'm Angela, I'm 43, from Reading in England. I've been on and off MFP for the past year or more but from today there has to be no more faffing about. Yesterday, I went to the doctors for my diabetic review (type 2 diabetes). (I was diagnosed 3 years ago.) I've been taking 2 metformin in the morning, 3 in the evening,…

Hello Dennis, I'm afraid it's true that motivation comes from within, you're either in it 100% or you're not. I am at the moment, thankfully. My reason though, unfortunately, is because I am a type 2 diabetic. This is all down to my unhealthy lifestyle and I can only ask you to, please, not get like me! Losing weight…

I'm another one whose goal is to ditch the meds I'm afraid! I got rid of one Piaglitazone in March this year. Am hoping to slowly get rid of the remaining 5 Metformin and 1 cholesterol tablet... You've made it seem an attainable goal, thanks!

Heyyy, I checked out your photo... underneath it you have put "ugliness :(" You are NOT ugly! You are slim, you are not skinny, you can change your body shape if you want hun, but don't put yourself down! You are worth something more!
-
Well, I found that very motivating! Well done!

You have got to be kidding. Unbelievable.

Defo want to join in but can't find the group...would you mind sending me an invite please? Thanks!

I have 2 Weetabix and 0.5 pint(ish) of skimmed milk for 232 cals. That keeps me going for about 3 hours, then I have a banana (100 cals). 700 cals is a lot for a breakfast I reckon, but if you have the cals to spend then go for it. Especially on something so healthy as granola. I sometimes have granola for lunch with fruit…

Totally get that. I know EXACTLY what you mean. I live with my mum who buys chocolate like it's going out of fashion, but she doesn't actually eat it...I do! And crisps, she buys a pack of 24 and will maybe have 1 packet, then I eat the rest (in about 3 days tops!). I spoke to her yesterday and she said she'll stop buying…

Yes please!

Defo drink more water. That really helps me. And also ask yourself are you really hungry? Or are you just bored? I really overeat when I'm bored! As for what do I crave...well, pretty much everything that I shouldn't have! Crisps being my number one problem area!
