I just bought a pair of "work" shoes that look like tennis shoes from Red Wings... they feel wonderful on my feet and because they are work shoes, the bottoms are oil slip resistant...great on snow and ice too. These are less to slide. Just my thought... These are the shoes I exercise in.

I personally don't take as a treat day but I am sure some may. There are some restaurants like Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, Olive Gardens that have "lite" dishes on their menu. My most favorite at Olive Gardens is the APricot Chicken that comes with asparagus and broccoli.

I work days but my husband works nights, 11-7am. He eats a balanced meal around 5-6. Snack when he leaves at 10. I send a balanced lunch with him. He tries to eat something right before he goes to bed...maybe a fiber bar and milk. I used to work those shifts and it is very hard.
