Add fiber. Kind almonds bars help me

If I am in a hurry... A KIND almond bar, fresh fruit, and milk

KIND almond bars. I find in the pharmacy area at Walmart. The almonds have raised my hdl to 57 and triglycerides are 66... So doing good other than helping with hunger. They are lower in sugar than most snack bars. My two favorite are dark chocolate almond with sea salt and caramel almond with sea salt. There are many…

I save fresh fruit for night... Helps with my sugar cravings

One breakfast I like is eggs scrambled with green peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach... Mixed with pasta zero shirataki noodles. Very low carb... You can find pasta zero under the fresh mushrooms at Walmart.

Mine was 10.00 at the meeting.

I love them... just make sure you brown them.

This is what I do... I log what I eat and my points in my journal and then go on MFP and put in my calories... I like to see where I need to add to...protein and calcium are my two main macros to watch.
-
well, I have been using at least 6 points daily... to me that is a lot. I tried almond milk but didn't like the flavor... SO... what I have been doing is putting half the coffee in my keurig cup and using only 3 tsp. per cup that equals 1 pt.... thus, reducing my overall daily point amount. Thanks for all of your input.

you CAN add me.
-
not too bad... have to wait until payday.
-
you can add me... I started 3 weeks ago. I have 65 more pounds to lose.
-
I have been wanting to try those...sound yummy. How many points are they?
-
That is great! Keep up the good work.
-
I also track on both... I like to see areas that I am lacking.. esp. in the calcium and protein area. I log my WW points in spiral notebook that I leave in my kitchen.

I have heel spurs in both feet...but they don't bother me now. They were very bad when I walked on hard floors, like the hospital I worked at. After I quit the hospital scene after 11 years, the pain stopped. I know I have them because I fractured my foot and they showed up on xrays.

I had the same thing happen to me last year... but found I had an ovarian cyst mass causing all my problems and hormonal issues. Not saying that is wrong with you but it was something I don't want to go through again.

I eat on schedule due to the way my job is. Plus, supper is scheduled since I don't want to eat too late (past 7 is too late for me)

I agree... love movie popcorn(well, popcorn in general)...but, the smell as you walk in is so overwhelming. The last two times, my hubby and I were finally able to not eat popcorn but ate something else instead that wasn't so high in calories or fat... I choose cocoa dusted dry roasted almonds... I have tried the kids…

I had them, for the first time, Friday night to serve the sauce on the side... she brings out a small amount of fish sauce. I asked that is what is on it? I was expecting more... and I was told yes. So, the sauce should n't be that many calories.

Got married.

Thanks.... I will try your recommendations.

This one does serve rice... I tell them not to send it out....a big heaping bowl full.

No, I do not log housework. That is what I do for a living and I work, mostly, 9 hours a day doing it... and I still gained weight. So, I have to only log intentional exercise... my body is just used to the normal housework. I am talking, vacuuming, laundry, mopping, moving furniture...etc.

I try to eat healthy but I am like you, if I want a piece of cake and keep within my calorie limit... I eat it. I have lost 18 pounds doing that. Makes me more motivated knowing that I can eat "not just diet food" and lose... I will keep doing it for the long haul and not give up.
-
LOL I don't really know what they are... I may change my mind. Thanks...

The one tip I failed to mention... DO NOT WASH the mushrooms under running water... I would use a damp rag (like I saw on a cooking show) to wash them off. I made the mistake and forgot. one time and was runny from the water (since mushrooms are like sponges). I trust you all will like them as much as I did... I am getting…

Welcome.. they were good.

I commend you on helping your dad...that's awesome. I know how that it is...it is very tiring at times and overwhelming. I wanted to share an option for you if you have it in your state or if your dad qualifies... in home care. Someone comes in (a case worker comes in and evaluates how many days and how many hours he would…
