I got that too a few years ago when I had lost weight. once I gained it back some people said "oh well, you looked too skinny at that weight anyway". I don't think that is really true at all. I was at 140 and 5'9", which is completely in the range of a healthy body mass. That is what i'm going for again. It's a good weight…

p.s thanks for the compliments! I would definitely recommend doing it when you don't have to work. I worked through my cleanse and I really think it would have been easier if I were not working.

my favorite quote is "it's better to regret something you did than something you didn't do." I have a feeling i'll get that tattoo one day, but I have a lot of ideas of tattoos haha and i should focus on finishing the one i'm having worked on before starting a new piece.

I agree with the salt thing! if you're getting too much sodium it can cause your feet and hands to swell (partially from water retention) check that out! they also swell naturally throughout the day, mine tend to be bigger in the morning and grandually slimmer throughout the day (my rings are a telltale sign).

please post recipe as well! thanks for this, I should make some of these, it's never really occured to me until just now that I can make my own protein snacks for before my workouts!

pft, that person is jealous of you. no doubt about it. You're doing a fantastic job, so don't worry what that idiot had to say.

Hey! a great book to read is Skinny b*itch, you can find it in chapters or any bookstore really. It talks very bluntly on the benefits of a vegan diet! I highly recommend it, but it's not for the faint of heart!

really all you need to do is type aspartame into google and you can read all about it! there are aspartame victim support groups for pete's sake! Think about it. It's a synthetic CHEMICAL, which means you should be putting as little of that into your body as possible! the Methanol, which makes up 10 percent of aspartame…

there are so many horrible things to be said about "diet" soda. Aspartame is a horrendous thing to put in your body! I know people who like diet drinks don't want to hear it (I was one of you once upon a time) but do any reading into the history and facts about aspartame and you would be a fool to consume it, EVER. if you…

yeah, i gotta say, your husband is being a bit of an a-hole. The mere fact he said "someone is going to punch you in the face" is totally unacceptable. He should be someone you can vent your frustrations to, he should be someone who, no matter what, wants to encourage you and pick you up when you fall down (and you the…

I've had a friend who thought we were competing, not about weight loss, but about other things, and honestly, it was her way of justifying her jealousy. She admitted later to feeling jealous, so she would make slight stabs at me here and there and try and brag about things she was doing. Me, being an encouraging and non…

I think most people before they are able to stay on track suffer through relapses. I know I have! But just remember how good it feels to have had any success and remind yourself that it's been done before and that you can do it too. And don't discourage yourself. I know it's hard, but living a life with a love/hate…

I have had a really wonderful start to my new year: 1. I joined this website, ready to make a commitment to get back to a weight that I am comfortable at. 2. Joined a gym close to my house and have been going 4-5 times a week 3. Lost about 8 pounds. 4. Began learning to play electric bass and have several music projects in…

wow yes! you are beautiful!

you look amazing! keep up the good work!

my boyfriend has made comments about how I "look so good". I am happy about that! and I also feel like since exercising and eating right again, my skin has been much nicer (I have eczema) I think it's paritally sweating (good for skin), and my diet changes. I have also not gotten any zits (I hardly got them before, but i'd…

Well, what the reason he doesn't like your weight loss? Does he think losing that much weight will be unheathy for you? Or is he physically attracted to you with a little more "meat" on your bones? It's pretty harsh of him to threaten to dump you though, and if this is something that will boost your confidence and make you…

I have had great success with weight watchers in the past. It's easy to use in my opinion and I would definitely recommend it! I know of lots of people who have had similar success, but it is important to keep at it so you can maintain, or you will gain it all back. As with any "diet" you need to make sure that the way…

I've learned to ignore basic spelling and grammar errors on the internet. But I do remember one of my friends once spelling "women" as "wimmin"... That's just unforgivable.

exactly, my pant size is small because I have tiny hips and a tiny bum. But I have broad shoulders and a big barrel chest. My pant size is about 7-8 now and when I am at my goal weight it will be probably 5-6, but my dress size is bigger because it needs to fit my upper body (9-10).

from what i can see in these pictures looks like you have lost a lot from your belly area for sure! that's awesome! you should do measurements (if you haven't already) cause that is a great way to stay motivated, even if you don't feel like you've lost much, the measurements will tell you otherwise!
