I have a food scale, I just failed to weigh it before I ate it. Most of the seedless watermelons are basically the same size anymore (purchased at Walmart). The cubes were pretty small, about 3/4" cubed. I figured 7 cups (yes, I ate all of that.... lol), so I'll just go with that. Thanks!

I'm in the same boat. Lost 65lbs too but gained it all back (only kept it off for a few months until I went through a breakup). Today is Day 1 for me. I'm addicted to sugar and getting off of it is my first priority. How are you doing?

Yes, exactly!! Studies have shown that sugar is more addictive than cocaine! I, too, am a "crack" (sugar) addict, and the only way I can stop is cold turkey. It's definitely hard the first week (or two), but I know that if I have one sweet thing, I'll want three, which quickly turns into five. Just do it.

I have RA, and when I cut out sugar (anything that was sweet or whose main/first three ingredients were sugar), I improved so much I would forget I even had RA. No joke! Unfortunately, I'm on the "crack" now, having slipped back into my addiction over the past few months, and I hurt every day. Today is Day 1 of "sobriety."

I put that I wanted to lose 2lbs per week. At 217lbs, I don't think that's all that unreasonable. With the sedentary activity level and trying to lose 2lbs a week, I'm guessing that's what's kicking it down to 1,200. I only put "sedentary" because I sit all day at my job, and sometimes in the evening, as well. Maybe I need…

I am 5'6". My activity level is set to Sedentary because I sit all day at my job. I have JUST started working out consistently, which should amount to at least 5x per week. Maybe I need to change my activity level?

I just wanted to tell you that whenever I needed to use less lean meat, in order to get rid of some of the fat, I would brown it in a skillet with some water added, so that I could pour off the water - and the grease along with it. I don't know how much this helped but every little bit...right? :)

Jade, I'm not sure if anyone has said this yet (I didn't read all of the replies), but I couldn't do lunges because I would get bad knee pain, but I can do the leg press machine without any problems. I know it's probably not as good of a burn as a squat, but it's definitely something.

Do you take any prescription meds? I was put on Hydrochlorathyzide for kidney stones a couple of years ago, but I didn't realize it was also used to treat high blood. Everyone always talks about how hard the Foreman is to clean, but I disagree. What I do is heat up the grill for 1min (provided you've allowed it to cool after cooking your food). Then, I wet a paper towel (squeeze out the excess water, but leave it "a little" wet) and wipe down the grates. Everything slides right off.…
