Oh, honeychild.

Yeah, anyone would lose in the first 2-3 weeks of low carb. Then what? Then she's back to losing .5 pounds a week. I think a better plan is to adjust expectations and eat at a moderate deficit.

A newborn calf :O

Sound's super! One question though, on day 3 how far can I safely range from the toilet? Can I just be in my house all day, or do I actually have to stay in the bathroom? ETA: Ugh, zombie post, now I'll never know the answer :(

Yep, a pound a week is great progress. In fact, she should probably be aiming for .5 pounds a week, with only 20 pounds to lose. ETA: pretty excited for the wife to show up!

Be different. Don't diet, eat in a way that you can enjoy for the rest of your life.
-
Hell yeah!

And now you're my role model :)

People sit next to me on the train :(

A couple of things jump out at me: -You need dietary fat to be healthy and function, don't be scared of regular peanut butter. -You are probably over-estimating your calories burned- if you are "tiny" you are not burning 500 calories in that workout. -Are you weighing your food? 130 calories of cheerios is a fairly small…

1. Protein bars are cool if you need more protein, but they're like 200-300 calories, so I'm not super clear on why you couldn't just eat some chocolate instead? 2. But....an actual hershey kiss is only 22 calories! Unless your concoction is super delicious (or you're diabetic), I guess I just don't get it. Not trying to…
-
But why is it contradicting your goal? I totally applaud your commitment to weight loss, but you can lose weight while eating chocolate, you know?
-
You are not an idiot! Many people who would disagree with you, myself included, do so because we've been there, and thought that. When I started, I thought i had to cut out all sugary treats, all the things I had been overeating. It honestly didn't occur to me that I could be successful eating them in moderation. I didn't…
-
I remember that feeling, but you won't ruin anything! Plan your day tomorrow right now, and plan in a small sugary treat. If you eat it and immediately turn into the cookie monster, then you take some deep yoga breaths and remind yourself that you can have more...the next day. I promise, eating something you enjoy in…

No, it doesn't make sense. It's not "cheating" when I eat chocolate. It fits in my calorie goals, it's delicious. It is actually helping me reach my goal to lose weight, just like the salad I ate before the chocolate. See- I eat things I like, stay at my calorie goal, and lose weight! I work out to be strong, I eat to fuel…

Dudes, just have a small piece of chocolate. A Dove Promise is 44 calories, what's the big deal?
-
How is Belviq going to change all these excuses you tell yourself? I'm confused- you're hoping to be a different person with a different life who's willing to prioritize your health and exercise self-control when you go off the meds? What is your actual plan here?

I've only lost 90, and still have 70 more to go, but my advice is just don't stop. Even though I had a really unhealthy relationship with food, for me it was just a bunch of bad habits I needed to break. I don't feel like I've had to deal with a lot of emotional stuff, but I think everyone is different in that regard. I…

Calories. The number is chosen by you, not by WW, it's flexible. WW doesn't "count" fruits and veggies, which is part of the reason their "points" are so low- it's a VLCD that you eat a ton of fruit on because you're hungry. I don't know about you, but I can rack up some calories with a few apples and a pint of…
-
My why was a why not- I counted calories for a few weeks, and it worked! Why would I stop? Success is a great motivation to continue, and now if I have a few weeks where I don't really lose, I don't give up because I know I'm doing the right thing. Also, I want to lift heavy things until my thighs bust out of my jeans :)

Do your own homework :./

I don't suffer from BED, but I have dealt with some really unhealthy food behaviors by creating new habits, and I have plenty to lose! I'm sending a friend request if you would care to add me. (But please be aware that I don't avoid any foods, and I eat and talk about eating all kinds of things, if that's something you…

Medifast starts you off at 800 calories a day, I would not recommend it.

haha, yes! My "standard lie" was 260 for years. I now weigh 25 pounds less than my dl says, tt's crazy! I think legally I'm already required to get a new picture taken, but I'm going to wait until I'm 100 pounds down.
-
Uh, I think people do get that. Of course the pills work in that you lose weight for a few months- but then what? Yo-yoing is exactly the problem with diet pills :/
-
nevermind- I fail at html :((
-
Oh for ****s sake. :/ ETA: whatever your personal issues may be, try not to **** on women who want muscles, or women who dig the "butch" look. Muscle is good for you, ok. It's good for you.
-
No way, you don't need to workout every day or "eat clean." I workout maybe 4 hours a week, and I don't eat clean by anyone's definition. But I stay under my calorie goals, and it works! If you're open to it, I know it can work for you too. Best of luck, friend!
-
Yes, that sounds like a good plan. Except figure out what' exactly "hasn't worked in the past." Maybe you were underestimating calories in or overestimating calories out. But there are lots of people around here who will be happy to help you figure it out, so yes, I think you should go with your sarcastically-written plan,…

Uh, at this point I'm pretty sure OP needs the sodium. And some carbs, fat, protein, and calories.
