A lot of people on MFP do workout programs like this, and even have groups for it. Is it possible the person who messaged you was actually upset about you inviting people to message you so you could sell them his product? Because that's advertising, and against MFP's rules.

Try looking at it another way- those clothes don't fit you any more, they're useless to you. Remember what a chore it was to buy clothes in your old size? And how hard it is to find bigger clothes second hand? Think of how happy someone is going to be to find your old clothes in that charity shop! They may be just the…

Dove promise 44 calories each, half cup of ciao bella 150 cals, 2 oreos 100 cals... I pre-log a dessert most days and it all works fine.

I use a separate app to record my weight a few times a week, to get a real sense of the up and down and the trend over time, but I only log my weight in mfp every 6 weeks or so, so i'm usually logging a loss.

OP: first of all, that is a cute baby. Secondly, you don't need to pay for anything. Accountability? Cultivate a friends list and comment on their activities, ask them to do the same for you. Advice, questions, go to the forums or use the search function. Listen to people's answers, even if they seem snarky or have a lot…

My advice would be to start at 2000 calories. Weigh everything on a food scale, be scrupulous and honest with your logging so you can establish whether that puts you in a deficit. You may want to look into doing the TDEE-20% method, you can google an online TDEE calculator to figure that out. If you use that method, you…

I don't find it necessary to punish my body for being fat by eating under my BMR. I'll just keep eating 2,000 calories a day and losing weight, and save all my will power for picking up heavy objects.
-
Yeah girl, get some ;)
-
You're doing an amazing job, I love seeing your progress :) OP, it is doable, just don't stop!

The fact that most of these replies are full of "tips" and "rules" to hide your fat is absurd. Wear what feels good, in the colors and patterns and styles and cuts that you like, and roll around in all of the compliments that you will get on your great style. You don't have to hide anything about yourself, ever. Anyone who…

Why??

I think for me what makes something a binge is if I feel like I have to be alone to eat it.
-
Seems like an all around win, not sure what there is to talk about? I mean, maybe in this hypothetical situation you should check the cals first, but sometimes just eating something and worrying about it later can be a healthy break, too.
-
OP, your gut is right on this one. This post will soon be full of people with no profiles or posting history raving about the product, and your inbox will probably be flooded with MLM salespeople- take it with a grain of salt.
-
Oh, girl. That gives me the sads.
-
This really sucks, but honestly? You dodged a bullet.
-
It really depends. You won't (and shouldn't) repeat that first week big loss, but that's ok. 24 pounds in 3 months is probably the most you can hope for, but the reality is even with consistency on your part, you're more likely to see about 15-20 pound loss. But that doesn't really matter, since you'll feel great and be…

What are you going to do when your instant motivation dries up? What good habits and discipline are going to sustain you then? You need to be willing to change if you want results.

You've written a lot about time restraints, I just want to point a few things out: Logging, at most, takes 5-10 minutes all together for the whole day. The more you do it, the faster it is as you build up a personal history or create meals and recipes. You spent more time than that today just explaining why you don't count…

I think you're right. I also think, for me personally, I used my fat as a barrier between myself and the world. A friend pointed out recently that I'm more approachable now, nicer and less sharp. I've also found that many important people in my personal and professional life treat me exactly the same as I lose weight-…
-
I say pre-log even if you aren't sure- it will make it easy to chose things that are similar to what you logged, macro-wise.
-
Isn't it awesome? The whole concept of 'do math, lose weight' blew my mind. And you're right, you are going to succeed :)
-
Um. Because when I'm here my profile and ticker display my goals, and if you "see" me on the forums i've come here to talk and share. I don't wear my goals on my t-shirt at the gym, so if you (or any stranger) complimented or cheered me on for being at the gym, it would be based only on your perception of me as a fat…

It's....a protein shake? A crappy MLM protein shake? I'll stick with my ON whey. Yum and way cheaper. ETA: that link goes to the distributor site of bodhilia inc, which google tells me is owned by **** Fiege. Hmmm...coincidence? Don't spam the boards.
-
You again?! OP, you have all the marks of a true zealot.
-
Effective for what? If you want protein, try Optimum Nutrition- yum and way cheaper than any MLM shake. If you want to make a quick meal with your blender, there are a million recipes online. Basically, there is nothing special about Herbalife shakes, regardless of what your salesperson told you. If money is an issue,…

You're not coming across as whiny at all, you are really grappling with something. I think you should talk to your therapist about this, and the two of you can work on coping strategies for when you are having these kinds of thoughts. Remember that you owe it to yourself to be sober and healthy! Best wishes. As someone…

My very sincere advice is to seek help from a professional for drug addiction and body dysmorphia. These are serious issues that you don't have to face alone. You are a lovely young woman, don't let drugs and disordered eating ruin your life.

So cool!

Lane Bryant has a decent Reebok line, and some athleta stuff goes up to a 2x, which I found to be about the same or maybe slightly larger than Target's XXL.
