I hear everyone - thanks for the advice. If I am hungry I will eat more for sure - I will not starve myself!!!
For breakfast today these 4 breakfast bisquits, breakfast shake - full and satisfied.
Lunch - big container of soup and a fruit bar - awesome and full.
Dinner - salad with croutons and yogurt ranch dressing - sounds yummy!
I even am eating two snacks a day including ice cream sandwich.
Not going to stuff myself and overeat if I am not hungry. I will watch it though - maybe it's cuz I am just starting out my body isn't hungry - who knows - but it feels amazing and the best part - finally I am not hungry like I used to be all the time (which is why I over ate all day - it was a never ending pit for food).
P.S. The reason it's mostly all processed food is because I don't cook for myself solo and my fiancé works every night until 11pm so we can't eat together. It's a proven fact for me If I have to cook for myself every night I will just eat out instead to make it simple so this is how it works best for me even though everyone is going to preach that it's not healthy. I won't prepare stuff ahead of time and make it each night because I don't eat leftovers.
It's what is best for me - eating better and smaller processed meals is better LONG TERM (I see myself eating like this forever) than eating two medium jimmy john sandwiches + chips in one sitting OR two mcdonalds sandwiches + fries + soda + nuggets in one sitting, OR eating a whole pizza pan pepperoni to myself, OR eating a kfc chicken sandwich, fries, mac n cheese, and three tacos in one sitting. These are all very typical meals I would eat every single day of the week before. Lots of buffets, eating enough for 2-3 people at one sitting, snacking, etc.
So even though it's not the best plan - it's WAY, WAY, WAY better and healthier than what I was doing AND most importantly - sustainable for me personally.0 -
I thought my knees where going out on me but quickly realized it was because i was just too heavy. when i lost the weight, I still feel tenderness in my knees, I was able to run. now if I feel any pain in my knees i tape up with KT Tape and all is well. I have run up to 9.3miles without pain in my knees and i'm sure I can go further.
lose the weight, then your knee problem should go away. or enough where you can get away with just stretching and taping them up.0 -
You can always cook your meals for the week on a sunday, weight loss always starts and should always begin in the kitchen. I know it can be hard but just to make things simple I would grill up some chicken and some thin steaks. Cook a few sweet potatoes and whatever veggies you prefer. Get a Scale and weigh out your meals. Also glad containers are cheap and awesome! Get low glycemic fruits, berries, pears, even apples.0

no- you are not hearing us. You are saying that- but you aren't.
Being hungry isn't an indicator of when to eat. "intuitive eating" isn't a thing. That's not how this works. Hunger is chemicals and hormones- which are easily affected and impacted by a plethora of things- sleep- stress- work- exercise- sodium content.

no it is not. It is not better than anything- it's a terrible plan and it's not going to suit you in the long run. You need to put on your big pants and come up with a realistic approach that gets you the food you need.0 -

the only thing i think is wrong here is that you don't look like your getting much protein.
for weight loss reasons, it doesn't really matter that everything you're eating comes out of a wrapper. healthwise is a different story though.
I'd also say that I was much like you, couldn't/wouldn't cook for myself to save my life. taking charge of my food intake by preparing meals ahead of time and planing ahead is really the only reason i have had significant success in burning fat. because its so easy to go off track, when you put more time and effort into what goes into your mouth its easier to stay on course if you ask me.0 -

He's only looking for "positive" feedback, says he knows everything, yet keeps failing, and is only looking for views that basically support what he's already doing. One quick, cursory glance at his posting history shows he's full of excuses and interested in only the quickest fix possible. He keeps failing at that, sure, but that's the only "positive" feedback he wants to hear.0 -

^I second this. He has asked for advice many times in the forum and great advice is given to him. Yet here he is again, still asking and getting great replies but will he take the advice? Sorry I am not you. I have lived on this earth 33 years and have tried cooking in advance, prepping in advance, and freezing meals to eat all week - doesn't work for me. It sends me right to failures front door for a quick (fresh) meal.
Almost 8 pounds down this week - woo hoo.

If you want it, work for it. It's that simple.
if your eating things out of a wrapper then they were all prepared for you in the past and your either heating it up or just tearing open the wrapper.
by that logic, every thing you are eating is a 'left over'.
IIFMM is a sound way to go, but if you are ONLY going to eat what is 100% paletable to you, then your basically doomed to fail0 -

I have RA mostly in my feet, hips and hands. I have osteoarthritis in my heels and toes. I just got a bike and it's been good. My physio said no elliptical cuz it puts your body in an un natural stride. I'm trying to tone around my damaged joints to support them
But I also want to address the fact you said "fast weight loss in 3 months." its a marathon. Not a sprint. If you lose a mass amount of weight in that period, you're not doing your body any favours. 80% food and 20% exercise. :bigsmile:0
