Yep, start keeping a food diary - eat the calories they set for you and eat back any exercise calories and the weight should start coming off.

I just gave up all soda for an entire 8 weeks during a weight loss challenge - it gets a bit easier, but there were still times I really wanted one, but I did stop wanting one every day. It was specific times like going out to movies or going out to eat where soda has always been a part of that. That being said, now that…

Haha, please - I was about 270 lbs when I did my first one - a mud run with military based obstacles and I came out unscathed (physically, mentally I did feel pretty beat down because it did rub in just how out of shape I was) - just very dirty. Never doing a mud run again, for sure, but would totally do a regular 5K. My…

I'll send you a friend request - I started at 273 and I've lost 32 lbs so far - MFP is a pretty great place and it keeps me motivated knowing my friends on here want to hear about my progress and will help keep me on track. I totally understand where you are and you've done a great job in 3 weeks! I think your goal of 250…

Yep, thrift stores (I found the cutest shirt recently at Goodwill for like $3) or places like Walmart or Old Navy sometimes have good deals like plain T-shirts for $5 - I know sometimes Old Navy has jeans for like $19 (pretty good for jeans - I won't get jeans at Walmart personally because I had two that easily ripped…

Rock it, girl! You look amazing! :)

Seedless, quarters, little bit of salt...or none (I can take it or leave it).

Upper body - especially shoulders - I guess this isn't uncommon for women according to a coach at the Y.

Yep changing up diet and exercise. I just actually broke plateau myself (I hope - I lost 1 pound and then TOM showed up so I'm still at the same weight I was last week) and one of the coaches at the Y told me to up my intervals on the elliptical (or start doing intervals if you're not) or try a different machine/exercise…

Once a week - your weight can fluctuate from day to day - typically I do it every Saturday morning on the gym scale (my home scale is really not accurate - theirs is a medical scale) before I've had anything to eat or worked out (and maybe just a tiny sip of water for thirst's sake). Even though it's in the ladies' locker…

^ this - exactly what I tell people. Friend: "You look great, what are you doing?" Me: "I'm on the 'eat less, move more' program." I have a co-worker who tried GHC (or whatever it is) - she said she lost 14 lbs, but I honestly couldn't see a difference (and she's a thin person to begin with so that would be obvious). She…

There is no magic pill - eating less and exercising is the healthiest and most effective way to lose weight. No, it's not fast, but most pills will be a quick fix and then once you stop, the weight will come back. Note too, most pills will tell you they work "in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise" - leads me to…

I'm a bit sad - it's taken a little while for me to warm up to Matt Smith and I'll be sad to see him go (not as sad as I was with David Tennant...) - it'll be interesting to see who fills the Doctor's shoes. I agree with an unknown and it would be nice if he were ginger. I've heard Rupert Grint's name tossed around on the…

The weight lifting program I use has me rest 1 minute between sets so if I rest more than that then it's a new set.

When I was still with my now ex-fiance, he'd always tell me I didn't need to lose weight and I'd look fine with ten more pounds on me. He was clearly worried that if I got a hot body, I'd leave him for something better. I ended up leaving him anyway and now I'm working on getting that hot body. :)

Honestly, Wal-Mart - I wasn't in the market for a swimsuit - I don't like the way they look on me, but I saw this one, it was $19 and something told me 'try it on' so I did and it actually looked pretty decent (not great, let's not get crazy here...it'll be a while before I look GREAT in a swimsuit) - so I bought it. It's…

Popcorn and chocolate. Thankfully my favorite microwave popcorn is only 140 cals a bag so I've been able to work that into my diary almost every day. :) Even with chocolate, I take a fun size M&Ms (70 cal) to work - I intentionally eat them at work because if I eat them at home I'll be like "Mmm, that was good...gonna get…

Well, she's not a Mrs yet, but I'm partial to Rainbow Dash... *reads the other responses* Oh...that...Lemon Pepper. :)

I don't feel particularly energetic either, but I focus on the little things - I can climb a flight of stairs much easier now, my knees and back don't hurt as much as they used to and I'm able to walk further without getting winded. Am I super in shape? Heck no - and I won't be for quite a while - there are still times I…

I had a chocolate milkshake today...I blame T.O.M....

One day is probably not going to make that much different, but you don't want to eat under your goal every day or it can actually halt your weight loss. So shake today off and then get back on it tomorrow! :)

Half a cup of oatmeal with some apple chunks, almond slivers and little bit of brown sugar in it with a glass of milk.
-
Thank you - that's exactly how I wanted to word it but wasn't sure how - take that weekly total and evenly space it throughout the week so it's not fluctuating so much and it's more even keel.

As long as it fits into your calories, then no problem - it has protein which is important to keep you healthy and active.
-
If you're not vegan, then dairy - lowfat milk, cheese, yogurt (especially as said, Greek yogurt). Eggs - the yolks have a bit of cholesterol - the protein is in the white. I usually don't eat the yolks but this is more because I don't like egg yolk. Nuts - almonds, peanuts, cashews - also nut butters like peanut butter -…

I got rid of the neck measurement - I measure waist, hips, bust.

To travel anywhere in time and space...what?! Having a TARDIS is TOTALLY a super power! ;)

OMG, I hear about so many weird diets from my co-workers it's ridiculous - one has been on that GHC diet, which just sounds dangerous to me, another has bought some supposed "all-natural" appetite suppressant (which you know in 6 months will cause problems in people and be recalled), one says it doesn't matter if you eat…

If I gave them up completely my life as I know it would be over, however, I have cut down, such as eating a sandwich with one piece of bread instead of two or maybe taking a half cup of potatoes or pasta instead of a full one.

Thanks for the great suggestions guys - a lot of these are easy to pack in my lunch bag for snacks at work. :) This one I'll have to save for home because if I curl up and fall asleep at work I'm probably going get fired lol. But I do love soup.
